The Good Earth Vineyard And Winery
Went too the Good Earth for Easter brunch. Totally enjoyed the meals we had. Our server, Andrew, was very attentive to our experience. Nice wine tasting after meal. Thank you.
Wonderful lunch in a beautiful setting! Food was beautifully prepared and delicious and the wine outstanding. It is was, however, pricey.
Had an amazing time, Trevor was fantastic and the polenta and lamb meat balls were delicious!
Can’t wait to go back!
Another memorable meal at The Good Earth. Consistent quality and attentive service.
I absolutely love this little piece of paradise that’s hidden from the rest of the world. This off the beaten path winery and bistro makes delicious food, tasty wine and servers who are like your friends. We go back regularly because we love it so much!
Lovely spot, the food was delicious and inventive. We will definitely be back.
A lovely lunch in a wonderful setting with friends
Always a favorite spot for us. Great food that is always delicious, creative and being changed up periodically along with wonderful service.
The food was delicious.
Always great food! Can get a little crazy on summer weekends........best to go in off season
Always delicious, always unique. One of my favourites!!!
Love the cozy feel of the restaurant. The food is delicious but not much variety.
Not a big fan of the wine and found it a little expensive for the wine testing.
I think it willl be beautiful to visit on summer .
Delicious food, a quiet intimate environment and beautiful scenery. Highly recommended!
One Sunday when wind knocked out power in the area, we had a wonderful lunch at Good Earth.
Our meals were delicious and service very attentive, while we looked out at the weather and enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the dining room. Will come again for sure!
My husband and I drove down this past Saturday and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The food and service was delightful and would recommend to anyone
Excellent food, pleasant environment and knowledgeable friendly staff.
Incredible food, ambiance, and customer service. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, thank you!
We love every outing at The Good Earth. The intimate atmosphere is lovely. It is cozy and warm with a farmhouse look. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. We always receive a smile upon greeting.
Our meal was served in a timely fashion. The mushroom soup with pesto was rich and delicious. A very large portion- I couldn't stop eating it! Next was our salmon- spicy with cauliflower and spinach. I was already full but tried to leave room for dessert. Flourless Chocolate cake with raspberry and cream sauce. A dollop of whip cream on top. Heavenly! We paired our meal with three (3) ounce wines.
A lovely way to spend an evening in Niagara. Local or not.
My husband and I have always had wonderful experiences at The Good Earth Vineyard and Winery and once again we were impressed!
We were greeted and made to feel welcome right away, Nicolette is amazing as is her wait staff. Chef Andrew prepared a truly delicious menu and loved the choices that were offered. It was a good price point too.
The restaurant was packed and as a result the noise level really rose and it detracted somewhat from our overall experience. The tables were situated really close together and would have preferred more room between them. This would have helped the wait staff as well.
I look forward to attending more events at the restaurant and at the cooking school.
Winter time meant the place was quite packed with about two inches between tables. (Not ideal for a romantic evening.) My recommendation: if it needs to be this packed (and any time)... Adding good local background music, candles on the tables and dimming the lights could help improve ambiance. Wines to purchase are delicious but a tad steep. Food was sensational with generous portions.
It was a lovely occasion. I think I like the bistro better in summer when the space feels more open and the tables are further apart than 12 inches. I enjoyed having a 3 glass flight of wines, one for each course. More care could have been given to main course pairing. The veg with the salmon was too spicy for the beauty that is the Viognier. Salad and dessert were perfect. All round nice, quiet service and Collette took the time to ask us how everything was afterwards. Love the personal service of a sweet and small hidden away bistro.
Valentine dinner at Good Girth Club. We enjoyed a beautiful meal...top marks for presentation and great details.
Never fails to impress. Great food and outstanding service every time.
Outstanding and consistent. Never disappointed. Best in the area
Huge portion of prime rib roast , very tasty sides
Nicolette (the owner) is a perfect host in this wonderful restaurant/winery. We were there on a sunny winter day, making the beautiful winery ambiance even nicer, despite the cold outside. We had the charcuterie for two, with the Broadhead Grindstone beer, followed by fish & chips and lamb shank lunch, and we each tried one of the desserts with coffee. Everything tasted amazing (you never know how great lemon is on fish & chips until you have had a grilled lemon!) Trevor, our server, timed perfectly and we had a leisurely lunch. Always a favourite lunch or dinner spot for us!
Wonderful service and great specials!
I hesitated about reviewing since we kind of want to keep this place our little secret. This was our first time; can't wait to go back and experience the patio when the weather is more civilized.
The food was amazing as we have grown to expect! We love bringing out visiting family and friends for lunch. We were not able to sit out in the enclosed porch area which was a big disappointing but only for a minute. It is always so cozy sitting out there with the heaters and soft blankets. We will be back to enjoy the ambiance out there another time. We had a great time with our guests visiting from Calgary and they left with great memories. Today was their 1st wedding anniversary so it was a special day all around.
As always, the food was wonderful and service was friendly. We had the spare ribs, kale Caesar salad, butternut squash soup (with blue cheese and peppers), and the gnocchi. This is my favourite Niagara restaurant.
Such a lovely setting! Nice seasonal menu, though my eggplant schnitzel was undercooked, my friends enjoyed their fish and chips. Love this place. Have been twice with a few bumps each time, but they always tried to make it right. Love it for the ambiance, and always have a good veg option. Do try it!
I am interested in hosting my daughters bridal shower there at The Good Earth. By late spring, we should be able to sit on the patio for an informal gathering. Food was delicious, love going to wineries!
A true gem with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and great food.
As Always, outstanding food and service. A true gem in wine country. Great atmosphere, seated outside with fires glowing around us.
This was my first experience and I will go back!
We love spending time in wine country and having lunch at the Good Earth is always such a treat, the food is delicious, the menu very creative and the service so friendly and attentive. Love the sparkling wine 💕🥂
Food was very good as usual and the cooking was creative.
Three cousins went to the restaurant to have our annual lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our outing. The food was fabulous with chef prepared basil oil enhancing the squash soup of the day and a beautiful salmon and cauliflower rice dish. The Wine pairings were exceptional and the wine itself (a crisp riesling and beuatiful blush peach coloured pinot gris) delicious. The tasting shop was beautifully appointed with lots of Christmas fare. The country location was close and easilynaccessed from the QEW but tucked away giving it added charm.
This restaurant feels like home. Wonderful service, beautiful decor, amazing menu and delicious wine.
Amazing food. Was in the area for a wine tour and had heard great things about this restaurant. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this place. I got the special pasta with clams and chorizo it was delicious
