Since 1998, when we opened our Niagara farm, home and hearts to our guests, The Good Earth has been a haven for discerning food and wine lovers and an oasis for the senses. Our gardens, orchards and vineyards provide a spectacular backdrop for wine and culinary experiences that reflect all the good things the earth has to offer.

We have visited the restaurant dozens of times, but today's trip was so disappointing. We loved to come and sit at a shady table, listen to the musician, and look at the beautiful gardens while enjoying lunch. Well not anymore. They have enclosed the back porch with glass, so a lot of the previous shady tables are now inside. We sat inside because there were no more of the few shady tables left. We could not hear the musician. The blinds were all closed because the sun was out, so we couldn't see the gardens. And the room was so hot, we were all dripping with sweat. There was absolutely no charm there today. Can't say we will ever go back again.

A very pleasant venue for lunch. In amongst the vines and the Listeria. We sat inside, due to the very hot weather. However, on a cooler day we would have enjoyed the outdoor tables. Either is excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. The wine, especially the Rose, was top notch. I will definitely return.

Beautiful winery to have dinner. Overlooking the orchards. The food was all excellent along with the sparkling rose. Overall 5 star!!! Will definitely be back.

Sad to say this was one of my worst experiences, and was definitely the worst experience I have ever had at GE. After being a very loyal patron for over 4 years - the fact that I got up and walked out due to the extremely poor service says it all. The appetizer that we had was amazing as usual - But the service - Not the usual.

We have been here before and the last experience was fantastic. So we were very disappointed with our most recent visit. It was a warm day, so we decided to eat dinner inside. The restaurant was so hot, both my husband and I were sweating beyond belief. Other patrons and myself were tying desperately to cool ourselves with the menus. I had the pasta special. The pasta was thick and hard to chew. It was a summer pasta in a white wine sauce that was very bitter and lacking flavour. No protein in the dish - 39$. We ordered a bottle of wine and our server poured our first glass, and then placed the wine bucket on the floor! There was no comparison from our first visit, to this experience. It was like two completely different restaurants. Maybe they were having a really bad day, with a terrible pasta special, but unfortunately we have no plans on returning.
