   One of the loveliest Sunday roasts we've had, all four of us really enjoyed our meals. Staff were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

   Family Sunday roast for 7. A little slow service for food and drinks but friendly waiter made up for it and meal worth the wait.

   It was a very busy Sunday lunchtime. We had a nice table for two near the fireplace (as requested). The service was excellent given it was so busy. The only drawback was that the food was disappointingly just warm rather then hot. The ambiance was spoilt because it was so busy and we could hardly carry on a conversation. We have made a booking for Boxing Day evening at 7.30 when I guess it will be similarly busy. Is there a quiet area you can recommend ? I am thinking whether we should go to the Warren House instead and which is closer to where we live. Your advice would be welcomed. Kind regards Ken Livet

   The lunch was very good , service excellent, choice of tables, The only down side was the Ladies toilets are in need of repair, cistern broken, door lock broken, floors dirty, hand dryer not working, the carpets in the entrance to the toilets are very dirty and greasy and upstairs not good for those with mobility problems, there is a down stairs loo but locked and key needed but unable to get attention of bar staff as very busy. This toilet situation is a shame because everything else was so good, toilets do in my book, denote the hidden standards of the restaurant so hope they are given some attention.

   Sorry, my review is in dutch. Een fijne plek om heerlijk te eten. Reserveren is aan te raden, want het kan druk zijn. Het eten was gewoon goed. De bediening was vlot en attent.

    Excellent service,food and good value. Only negative is more chicken on menu would have been good.
