   We always book in at The Golden Fleece when we visit Wells . It is somewhere we always feel welcome at. During our recent week up in Norfolk we ate at the GF twice choosing different meals on each occasion . The food was excellent as were the whole experiences. Dan has recruited a good team who all seem keen to make the visit great ! We will return later in the year .

   We always visit the Golden Fleece when in Wells -Next-The-Sea.. Our visit on Friday was as good as ever. Lovely food served by friendly staff .

   The whole experience was poor, we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table we had booked, items were missing from meals served, food was not freshly prepared - one food item appeared to have been kept warm for a long time and had dried out when served and the best meal could have been hotter. And they didn't have any mustard!

   We've been here so many times with our dog over the years... This time the food was very expensive for a very small amount. 2 x warm salads with either chicken or salmon. Small amount of new potatoes... Cold. Everything cold apart from the very small amount of the chicken. No beans at all warm or cold. £ 56 for 2 small salads, a shandy and a medium white wine. Won't be rushing back for sure

   Service was ok but the food was terrible! Better off at Mcds. Missing items, poor quality. Manager didn't care less! Don't visit, spend your money elsewhere!

   Food was okay but the service took forever. There was also dishes missing from the kids menu which made ordering difficult. If we had known on arrival we wouldn’t have stayed.

    I have previously had great meals here, but for the second time now they didn’t have enough staff on. 25 minutes after taking our seats no one had come to serve us, and we had to get up to find a waiter to take our order; the food then didn’t arrive until nearly an hour after we had arrived. When we finished the main course no one came to collect the plates, so after another long wait we gave up on ordering a dessert and again had to go in search of a member of staff to get the bill.
