   Lovely food.Prawn cocktail could’ve done with being more “ classic “ as described . If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Cooked dinner was lovely , no mint sauce available ,good job we didn’t order lamb ! A lovely meal though and good service we will be back .

   The food was very nice however the wait was to long it took over one and half hours to arrive, considering the pub was very empty this was unacceptable

   Arrived showing only two stars on the door, meal took ages to come to the table and when it did it was cold, not good, won't be going back until something changes

   Food was excellent . Table service was very poor . Young boy who is definitely in the wrong job . I was sent into the bar to queue for our second bottle of wine ! Ladies snorting cocaine in the toilets ! Entertaining evening but not for middle aged people out for a nice meal .

   Home made lamb kofta outstanding, bang bang cauliflower delicious. Followed my amazing mains in the shin of beef and the new sauce for the outstanding belly pork was immense. Service and friendly atmosphere was great as always. I don’t think there’s a better friendlier pub with restaurant level food.

   Always very friendly ordered hunters chicken the 3 of us have to be honest much not enough sauce found it dry

   Venue very busy but lady behind bar showed us to our prebooked table. Took our drinks orders throughout evening Food was delicious and plentiful, lovely friendly atmosphere Staff very nice apologised for any delays. We came as a group of 4 and all of us would return for a second visit. I very rarely put reviews out but I will happily recommend The Goldcroft Carleon

   Food was good. Six nations super weekend Zero atmosphere, refused to put volume on the match. Freezing cold everyone sat in coats.... Lots of empty tables as all reserved for hours in advance... Very unlightly to return which is a shame as was always a great pub with amazing atmosphere....not any more....left after 40mins

    I would have given 5 stars but my food was cold and had to be warmed up but when it came back it was delicious. The servings are huge so I couldn’t eat it all. Will definitely go again was busy but still the staff were lovely
