Although the physical location has changed over the years, history repeats itself as The Globe Tavern is still known as a place of business and networking for politicians as well as a place of comfort for tourists. Beginning in 1840, Lincoln brought Mary Todd to the The Globe Tavern for their first date. As the years progressed the food and beverage selection evolved and now featuring hand crafted specialty drinks in addition to a rotating selection of premium draft beers. Seven flat screen televisions feature sports and news channels alike keeping tavern guests up to date and entertained. Whether you are looking for lunch, dinner or appetizers the Globe has what you need.

Food was far below standard for even bar food. They were "out of" the special advertised all around the room. It was empty and i now understand why. Not recommended.

Small restaurant/bar inside the hotel. We were the only ones in the place at the time. Allowed our dog inside too, which was great not having to leave her in a hot car!
