   The restaurant was extremely busy and the kitchen seemed to be struggling with demand. They got our order wrong and I ended up having to a different main as we didn’t have time to wait for the correct meal. They did give me my meal free to make up for it. I don’t know if they were short staffed or not but they maybe shouldn’t have taken so many booking if they couldn’t cope. I had a voucher to use and don’t know if I would return.

   Booked pre theatre dinner and it was far too busy for the poor waiting staff to cope. No time to get our dessert. Waited 45 mins for main course. Asked for no bacon in Caesar salad and it arrived with lettuce, bacon and chicken with dressing. Very expensive for a bowl of lettuce and couldn’t eat the bacon. Partner had fish and no complaints there. Didn’t complain to the poor waitress as it wasn’t her fault at all. Poor management and squeezing in far too many tables before theatre. We did get an apology but I’m sure every table got that. Wouldn’t put me off going again just not for a pre theatre dinner as they are full to capacity.

   Very Loud in the back section. Disappointed overall as the front section presents so much better.

   Very good food, lovely friendly staff. A great place for a pre or post theatre show, would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

   Excellent service and first class food. Good pint of Guinness. Will definately go back.

   We chose from the pre-Theatre menu, and were not disappointed. The good-sized and tasty starters arrived quickly, followed by very generously sized main courses. Delicious fish and chips and I believe the chicken pie was very good also - certainly looked very good on my friend's plate. Our server was welcoming and friendly and very efficient. We use The Globe quite often for pre-Theatre meals, and will continue to do so.

   Overall a great experience. Quality food that’s cooked well. Been many times and will continue too. Ace for live music.

   The meal at the Globe was good. Only fault would be the crumble was not a crumble. Watery fruit with a granola topping

    Nice warm atmosphere, busy but could still have a conversation without shouting. Food was very good and staff attentive, polite and friendly. No delays in being served and offered dessert/coffee, price pretty reasonable too.
