It was great! We love going there! Never disappoints
The Glen Club is a wonderful place for a lunch or dinner with friends.
Excellent food, wine, and service!
As always, just right mix of lighting, those great chairs, and attentive service sets the stage perfectly for a lovely relaxing meal.
We had a very nice meal! Service was excellent and generally quick considering how busy the restaurant was on a Saturday night. The food was very good. Raves for the Pot Roast. Nice salads. Good burgers. The weakest dish was the Chicken Marsala. The chicken was pretty tough to cut and chew, though the sauce was good. The place was a lot noisier than we expected, but we got past that. Nice menu. Good place for a weeknight dinner next time.
Solid food, friendly attentive service. Comfortable club atmosphere.
Very enjoyable evening. All of the ambiance of a private club without monthly dues.
We have dined many times at the Glen Club
and recommend it highly.
Wonderful wait staff. Excellent choice of fresh food
Great neighborhood gem, with delicious food. We love the half sandwiches with choice of soup or salad. The chips & dip that are served pre dinner are to die for - we always ask for seconds.
One of our favorites spots in Glenview. Always a good choice for lunch or dinner.
The Glen Club was a lovely place to enjoy a yummy meal with friends. The staff was very attentive and the ambiance was perfect. I highly recommend this special place in Glenview.
Our group of eight was very satisfied and we will make The Glen Club an annual event!
Somewhat limited menu but what is there is prepared and presented in interesting ways. Also, the menu changes fairly often. The wait staff and bartender are very helpful and friendly. In warm weather, outside dining viewing the golf course is a treat.
The filet mignon was so tender. Have had the fish or shrimp tacos in the past. Had a wonderful dinner.
Ambiance is always great, cozy and welcoming. Love the captains chairs!- much easier to have a conversation in a comfortable chair.
Had a group of seven for a Saturday brunch. Nice room, quite so talking around the large table was easy. Good shorter breakfast menu and good service. Everyone enjoyed the restaurant. We will come back. I have been at The Glen Club during golf days and it can be active and busy but this is a find for a winter spot in Glenview.
We had a very nice time at The Glen Club. The food was good (not great), it was very comfortable, and we enjoyed our evening.
When we showed up to our reservation, we were told that the restaurant was booked solid, even thought we had an actual reservation. We were seated eventually, right by the entrance (felt like we were sitting outside the restaurant, with two kids). There were 2 servers for the entire restaurant. Our server kept walking away and every time we asked her a question, she seemed annoyed. When the food finally arrived, which took forever to get, my fish that was supposed to be grilled, tasted burned. I was very disappointed. The “bread basket” that we got for the table, had crackers in it and 3 little poppy seed rolls for the 4 of us... overall, I was disappointed, and would not come back.
Went with another couple on a Monday night. It was very quiet so nice for conversation. I had the chicken wrap, very good. Husband had soup and 1/2 sandwich. Consistently good food here. Burgers always good too. The staff is wonderful here.
Menu is somewhat limited but what is offered is done very well.
Small menu, they don’t over reach, just simple good food at a fair price with excellent service
Our seven o'clock open table reservation was not honored. Finally seated at 7:45. Even then there was very spotty and inefficient service. Management seems to be missing. Too bad. The food is excellent.
Always pleasant . Good food, great service and spectacular view on patio.
We like the Glen Club a lot. My only criticism is that the menu is somewhat limited wrt variety. However, what's available is prepared in very interesting ways.
Excellent fried green beans, delicious skirt steak sandwich and crunchy sweet potato fries! Yum!
Very busy and just fair service.
Some Servers have difficulty understanding our beverage and food orders.
The food and staff were excellent. The view outside on the deck was beautiful and relaxing.
Very pleasant atmosphere- decent food, decent prices
Sat outside, good food, beautiful scenery, good friends. Perfect!
Conversation friendly! Lovely meal, ambiance and great service!
Sitting outside on a beautiful day, and looking at a beautiful golf course certainly helps. Waiter was very friendly and there when we needed him. Food and drinks met expectations.
Never disappoints very good food, excellent service and an outdoor view that is spectacular ‼️
Food was mediocre- slabs of corned beef on Reuben. If it had been thinly sliced - so much better! Fries limp. This place brings us back because my mother can hear here. The round tables are intimate and unless the bar is crowded noise level is reasonable.
We had a wonderful evening of good food & friends, with a beautiful evening!
We have eaten at the Glen Club several times but the service and food were second rate, at best. There appears to be new management that is literally "new". We ordered an "old fashion" from the bar and it was made with vodka (what?) When ordering, we had to remind our waitress that she needs to ask how we would like our steaks cooked. We also had to remind her to ask what salad dressing we would like on our salads. My father's skirt steak was literally a strip of thin steak that was burnt, not "well done". The time it took to order dessert, eat and receive the bill took much longer than it needed to be or we wanted it to be. The noise level in the restaurant was loud. Our waitress couldn't hear us talk to place our order and we had a difficult time hearing each other talk.
Great food and beautiful, expanded patio with views of the golf course...
Best pasta dish ever. Will be back very soon for more.
Two birthdays. It took forever to get our waiters attention just to get s drink. It took forever to get our food. And the two birthdays we waited a half an hour.
Great place to eat outside by the golf course.
