Waited over an hour for our entrees. Both were over cooked and not good. Staff was clearly stressed out. They refunded our entrees, but the evening was pretty much ruined. Wish we went somewhere else.
Kelly, I'm very sorry about the dining experience that you received with us. Your food should not have taken an hour to come out & should not have been overcooked. The patio is lovely. The menu had some fun summer cocktails we loved.
We enjoyed the peach and burrata salad.
Our sever was very nice, but he really rushed us. We would have enjoyed a slower pace. He open and poured our wine before we finished our cocktails.
A couple of the items ordered were not too impressive, but everything else was delicious.
Always a pleasant experience - especially sitting on the back patio.
Service was too slow. Food was good, not excellent. I was quite disappointed. We sat in the parklet which was just OK, lots of street noise.

The Girl and the Fig located on the ground floor of the Old Sonoma Hotel literally, has a wonderful historic ambience.
I did not take photos of my chicken salad luncheon, but it was a delicious lunch.

It was a first time in my life that I’ve experienced such a bad service. A friend recommended this place and we were only able to book it for breakfast. We had reservations at 10:30 and waited for 30 minutes before a waitress has finally acknowledged us and gave water. She took the order and disappeared for another 20 minutes. While everyone who arrived much later than us has already gotten their food. We asked another waitress about the wait and she said there was some confusion at the kitchen. Our waitress came back and told us that she misplaced our order and had to take it again! Not sure why she never let us know that before. Finally, after an hour and 15 minutes wait, our slice of quiche and omelette arrived. Was not impressed with either food quality, taste and definitely the service. There are much better places in the area. El Dorado or Layla at McArthur were a delightful experience with quality, delicious food and friendly, fast service.

Disappointed with the wine list, would liked to have seen some of the wonderful local Sonoma wines. Our server seemed annoyed with having to be there and had no personality. Food was good and margaritas we had were delicious. Overall, not a great vibe. This was our second visit in several years, we are sticking to Napa in the future.

Great food, great service from Geoffrey. Only issue was we had to wait in line to get in even though we had a reservation. We had a 93 year old friend with us but no way we could get around waiting on the street. Maybe some exception for people with challenges with reservations?
Unfortunately this was a miss on both food and service. Went at noon on Tuesday 6/8 with reservations. Must have reservations. The seasonal salad was, as always, fabulous. The steak tartare was good but lacked enough crostini on both our orders to complete the meal, flavor just wasn’t there this time either. Waited 53 minutes after ordering for the duck confit, which we had to send back as it was not crisped as specifically requested. Came back still not corrected. The under garnish was very disappointing as well. Waitress was inattentive and disinterested. Floor manager was superb and helpful. Not what I’d call a good value today. Too bad. I really used to love this place.

Straightforward menu offerings with the finest ingredients. The potato soup was in no way what I expected but blew us away.
I’m honestly shocked at how bad this meal was. We had such high hopes after everything we’ve read but should have listened to the locals - it’s not what it once was. The Morell mushrooms weren’t cleaned properly, and the entire risotto dish was unseasoned. The wine and service were great, but the kitchen fell very short. We wouldn’t go back given how much it cost.

The food was excellent, presentation eye-popping, and service well done. Our server, Reini, was pleasant and willingly answered our questions and accommodated our requests without hesitation. We asked for more than one food substitution or adjustment.

Everything was fine except my wife's entre (flat iron steak) was cool when it arrived to the table.
18 dollars for one soft shelled crab seems a bit excessive.
Otherwise no complaints, would try again.
We were given a very nice table in the courtyard and the food was absolutely delicious. We shared the grilled peach salad, and I had the wild flounder and my husband had the trout. Then we had two desserts to share: the chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream and the butterscotch pudding. What a treat! We LOVE the Girl and the Fig. The food is always outstanding, the servers always polite, and the venue is perfect, right on the plaza!
