One of our best dining experiences during the pandemic. Service was great, food was excellent, our kids enjoyed it too! We appreciated all of the safety protocols as well.

Food and waiter were great, but we picked the restaurant to sit on the patio. They put us on the sidewalk near cars and generally less favorable atmosphere. When we asked to change tables, they said they were full. Call ahead to make sure you get a seat on patio as opposed to sidewalk!

What an amazing experience! We have always enjoyed our experience with the girl. Mannie’s first day back after 4 months away. He’s a natural and the food and drink is off the hook. If I could have another sister she would be th #figgirl. Light linner at 2:45 lol and enjoyed every minute of it! They haven’t lost a beat at all with this stupid COVID.

Appetizers & Dessert were wonderful! Entrees, not so much. I'm willing to chalk this up to Covid, and hope it was just not a great night for the kitchen. Our entrees were really very poor, the MR steak came out undercooked and tough and the fish was soaking in butter. Luckily, the salads and dessert courses were as expected!

Already reviewed my fabulous lunch on Trip Advisor - 5 stars all the way. Excellent service (Mauaricio), fabulous food as always, and such a great effort by the restaurant to provide me lunch in a safe environment during Covid times. Thank you.

After an ambivalent welcome and seating at a busy trafficky sidewalk corner instead of the limited patio (hey socially distance!), the experience got progressively -- better! Kelsey made us feel welcome at last; food was excellent -- flounder for me, steak frites for mrs. -- i get that X are hard -- support ur local restaurant/businesses!

Although we were seated on the sidewalk with customers enjoying dinner behind the fence along side of us, the food was exceptional, the service very good and the price reasonable. Other than the exhaust fumes and road noise, a very enjoyable way to celebrate our 48th Wedding Anniversary.

Cute little restaurant - bummed that the website said brunch was served 10am-3pm on Sundays but when we arrived we were told it ended at noon. Also, not a great spot if you have a vegetarian in your group which was surprising. Fried Green tomatoes and the profiteroles were EPIC! Yum!

This is our 4th trip to Girl and the Fig. We understand that things have had to change due to COVID-19 but our experience was less than par. We were seated on the corner of the street...and I mean on the corner. People were standing next to us waiting to cross with the light. In addition to that, we were also in front of one of the doors so multiple times during our meal, people were trying to enter basically behind me. I wanted to purchase a t-shirt and when I pulled out the basket that I thought they were in, immediately someone reprimanded me for touching the basket .I explained I was looking for the t-shirts and she claimed she was not allowed to touch them either. I was really so over it at this point that between the noise and service and reprimands- not sure if we will ever come back.
On a side note...before our lunch we had a drink in the plaza hosted by girl and the fig...wish we would have eaten there.
See attached photo of how close we were to the plaza- across the street - and would have spent 1/2 the money.

Sat out back on Girl and the Fig's patio and it did not disappoint! Food, drinks, and service were spot on. Instruction for Covid-related safety was clear and communicated. We enjoyed ourselves very much and will continue to visit when we are in Sonoma :)

2 of the 3 brunch items were excellent but the chef clearly didn’t know what a croque madam was or how to prepare it correctly. The ham was odd and tasted off, it should have been dipped in batter and with bechemal on top NOT mustard. It was very disappointing.

We had a 10:15 reservation. We were seated at a table on the sidewalk next to the fence around the back patio, with an umbrella giving us shade and a little more feeling of intimacy. The food was as delicious as it always is. We can never resist ordering the quiche. The service was attentive, but socially careful. It was lovely.

Extraordinary spot to escape to! Had my birthday lunch in their lovely, shaded with sprinkled sun, quiet back garden. Delicious, well-presented, but not "fussy" food, very reasonably priced. The staff was quietly there to fill every need but not be too present. A lovely and delightful experience all around!

My wife an I shared tye mussels appetizer, it’s always good. She had a cocktail, said it was okay. Not much alcohol. She ordered the Fig arugula salad, her comment was there was not enough figs, the arugula bitterness really was all she could tase. Had the croque monsieur. There was minimal cheese and ham, the corners of the sandwich were dry. Essentially, the small amount of cheese and ham were centered in the bread, and it sat under the warming lights for several minutes. It was very very dry on top, and soggy on the bottom. I mentioned this to the server, and he basically said, it’s me slice of cheese, one slice of ham. It was actually small pieces of ham. We were here a few months ago, and I had burger that time. That burger was a fail as well. It’s as if the passion for food is gone, and the need to maximize profits has taken hold. I’ve been going here since the beginning, and it’s really not the same. I’ll stick to my local French bistro in Petaluma if I want to enjoy this type of food. Too bad, because it’s not the same.

Server was amazing. Food was very good. The restaurant really tried to make this feel safe for all of us. Only concern is that we saw a few people being walked to their tables without their mask on. But a very good first outdoor dining experience.

We had a fabulous anniversary lunch at the girl & the fig. Kimmy, our server was very friendly and professional. She gave us excellent recommendations on the menu. The corn soup tasted like summer comfort food in a bowl with a kick of spice. The fried green tomatoes had a pillowy light crust with firm, tangy green tomatoes. The duck liver mousse was velvety and well balanced. The wicked slushees are a must try! We enjoyed the cherry Manhattan and frose. Delicious! We had a delightful experience! Thank you Kimmy for making our anniversary so special!

The wine selection was very limited...however, I chose The Girl and the Fig Rose, and enjoyed that glass.
