    We were spoiled by our dinner at the girl and fig. Great team that works and runs the restaurant that creates an amazing experience. The food is astounding and you can taste the love and care that goes into each ingredient. Definitely pre book!

    Once again the GATF knocked it out of the park. I had the scallops and my wife had the chicken thigh and the appetizer of fig and blue cheese on sourdough bread(fig tartine) was over the top. Obviously we will be back.

    Fig burger, for the price, was disappointing. The bun was too small and quickly became soggy. Waaay too much onion on it. And I wasn't asked how I wanted the burger cooked--it was a bit too red for my taste.

    Lovely service and amazing food! Get the mussels. Interesting cocktails, too. A highlight of our few days in Mapa/Sonoma. Glad we chose the patio, as the inside was quite loud.

    Our first trip here and the reviews we read did not disappoint. The food was fabulous and our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and made outstanding recommendations for us. The seared scallops with creamed corn and heirloom tomatoes was outstanding, probably the best combination of vegetables and scallops I’ve ever eaten. And the fig tarting with blue cheese cream was a great start to our meal.

    What can I say ... The Girl is BACK and seemingly here to stay. Every meal I've had in the past year has been fantastic. They have a professional staff and I can't get over the patio charm. Still thinking about those chicken thighs!

    While the food was excellent, we were surprised when our waiter asked if we wanted a to-go cup for our coffee. We had been at our table just a little over an hour, eaten our dinner, when we ordered coffee and dessert. 5 minutes after getting our coffee, the waiter asked if we wanted a to-go cup for our coffee. I understand they need to turn the tables to make a profit, but we felt like we were literally being kicked out of the restaurant.

    We had indicated we were celebrating my birthday and they were lovely about it. The food and service were excellent. I was particularly thrilled that they a kir royale! We had a charcuterie plate for the table to share and it was fabulous - fig jam and cake were a highlight. We all loved our entrees as well. The girl and fig will be added to our list of favorite restaurants!

    It was an amazing dining experience! The food was fantastic. My husband had the scallops, I had the flounder- absolutely delicious. The service was excellent- thank you Rene you were knowledgeable, friendly and very kind. Have to mention the dessert-‘cookies and milk’-unbelievably good. Highly recommend!!

    Innovative French fare. The Duck Confit and the chef’s menu were excellent (fried chicken livers, trout, pumpkin tart) were top notch. The bill is steep, but worth it.

    We visited after a few recommendations and great reviews and overall would go again, but was dreaming of the duck confit only to find it super dry and bland. Service and setting were both great. Loved sitting outside. Would go again, but with lower expectations for the food.

    Dined on the back patio on a Wednesday evening. They were very understaffed. Poor Dennis was doing the best he could, but it is never a pleasant experience to watch your server sprinting from table to table. It makes you feel bad asking for minor things. The patio had inconsistent heating and was much colder than would be ideal. They had a lot of the propane heating elements turned off. The cocktails were watered down and the “Fig Old Fashioned” committed the cardinal sin of using crushed ice. Your team needs to invest in large ice cube molds for that drink. The appetizers were pretty to look at, but extremely difficult to eat. The Fig Tartine was pretty, but the sourdough was dry and overcooked making it a disaster to eat. The halves of fig fall off and go everywhere. The burnt toast made it impossible to cut. The Pork Belly and Peaches had bits of burnt pork belly, making it extremely tough and dry. The starters were straight up AWFUL. The main dishes redeemed the food slightly. The flounder was delightful, but far too oily and with too many capers. The scallops were slightly overdone. The dessert was ok. Standard tasty cookies with an extremely watery “milk shake”. Overall 5/10. This place DOES NOT live up to the hype. Look elsewhere, or maybe they can take this feedback and improve.

    Amazing from start to finish! The fig tartine was delicious…as was the watermelon and tomato gazpacho. I would highly recommend the watermelon and tomato salad; what a surprise. Delicious!!!!

    We stuck to the classics, duck and the flounder meuniere, a seasonal salad and cookies for dessert. Perfection! Our server Wendy was fantastic as well. Truly a wonderful experience.

    I joined two friends for lunch in the patio at Girl and the Fig. Everything was first rate. The wait staff is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, the patio is shaded and comfortable and the menu is extensive and we had trouble making choices. We were all happy with the quality, taste and price of our food. It is one of my favorite lunch spots in the Sonoma, Napa Valley area.

    We love this place however our burger was very sub par. Way over cooked, dry, lacking flavor, and dressed with too many onions. We let our waiter know so they can make improvements

    The girl and the fig is a classic! The apps, salads, and desserts are particularly exceptional — oooh that tomato and watermelon tower! And the crème brûlée is worth it. Cocktails and wine are all thoughtfully done, too.

    Shrimp salad sandwich was awesome! Yummy toasted brioche-style bread full of shrimp. Service was super friendly. Esp appreciate being directed to the bigger/air conditioned restroom outside in the patio area to change into a long dress I had brought to attend a local wedding. Thanks so much!! Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in the area.
