                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    The Gin bar had absoloutly no reord of our booking and looked bemused when we tuned up. We managed to get a table, but that was by pure luck rather than any planning. So the effort we went to, to find a decent bar and book a table was completetly pointless. You need to sort the system out, as it currenty failed massively.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    It was a Gin bar with bar food so the ambience was fine for what it was - service very good and the staff knew their gin and were attentive. Caesar salad was well presented and modern - very tasty and the sweet potato fries were good . The “ omnivore” platter however was really just an expensive cheese plate , but basically fulfilled the description.

I made a reservation for me and my daughter at the Gin bar for food and a few drinks as we had tickets to see Westlife and thought this was the closest place. I was disappointed to find that the table was not reserved when I arrived we then ordered food which took that long we had to ask. The service was appalling. The only positives thing was the Gin selection was very impressive.

One just said what do you want! Had a table booked and was not given menus we had to find them.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Me and my wife were staying at the crowne plaza and didn't want to go far to eat so decided to book up for the Gin Bar and we weren't disappointed the food was amazing and would definitely recommend to others.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Walked into The Gin Bar, greeted by lovely staff member who showed us to a table by the window. Whole bar is immaculate. Table service is done here, and order was taken after a few minutes of being sat down. Drinks arrived promptly (Gin cocktails are incredible). Music taste in the bar is just right (relaxing but upbeat) and fits right into our mood for the night. All bar staff I encountered were great, knowledgeable (staff know off-menu cocktails and many gin perfect serves) and excelled in customer service skills. Native to Newcastle, but just found this place when I searched for gin bars. Absolute gem of a place!

Lovely gin based cocktails and a large selection of gin and tonics to try. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to help with recommendations and perfect serves!
