Discover The George: A modern dining destination led by Director of Culinary Eraj Jayawickreme. The menu celebrates local, seasonal ingredients through small plates, raw selections, vegetarian options, mains, and desserts. Savor Pacific Northwest flavors with the freshest seafood, artisan cheeses, and vibrant produce.

The George pays homage to the historic Georgian Room, a Seattle icon since 1924. Designed by renowned Spanish studio Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the space blends history with timeless aesthetics. Hand-painted tiles, Art Deco chandeliers, and marble floors enhance the ambiance, while floor-to-ceiling iron and glass doors and original Palladian windows complete the vision. With a private dining room and semi-private enclaves, The George is perfect for groups and special occasions.

We had a great time at The George. Our food and drinks were excellent. We really enjoyed our server, Gary, who made the experience even more fun with his delightful attitude. We will definitely return. The ambience was lovely, and elegant. I do want to mention that while the restaurant was only about 20% full, the hostess attempted to place us at the very worst table in the room, right at the entrance, where our meal would have been interrupted every single time someone came in. I wonder why she thought we'd accept that table? We had reservations and were guests at the hotel. Do you know how insulting it is to be placed at a terrible table when the restaurant is barely being used? I really cannot understand why we weren't offered the very best table? We were nicely dressed, smiles on our faces, and ready to have a good time. Puzzling to me.

Some good and some bad things. Ambiance and service were phenomenal. Food was sub par for the price. I didn't like the vegetarian entree, we ordered bread for 4 people and got 4 pieces of bread, but one was a tiny little nub, it felt cheap. Our table ordered a hamburger. It was cut in half and put face down on a plate of sauce. Who wants to eat a hamburger with a knife and fork that is soggy? I think they are loosing themselves in trying to be upscale and the food is just not great.

One server at lunch doing most of the work. Several kids that appear to be employees not helping, standing around and avoiding eye contact with patrons. Salad served same time as main dish, appetizer and bread arrived 10 minutes after main dish. Very odd Coffee and drinks good quality Food was poor flavor old moldy bread on Italian beef Waitress was super awesome but overwhelming busy. No manager or accountability for others not working. Hostess and other servers visiting with bartender . Cook had to help serve food because one waitress busy taking orders. Cook had dirty uniform and nasty rag hanging from his apron not as advertised

Excellent choices for food, very well prepared, and very friendly and active service. A little noisy, but it is to be expected these days.
