   This was my 3rd time dining at the George and I’ve never had anything less than a phenomenal all-around experience, so I had high confidence that Mother’s Day brunch would be a great experience. Sadly, that was not the case because the food took 35 min to come out, which, as anyone with young kids knows, is an eternity. But even without kids, it’s way too long to wait for food. The table beside us sat after us and finished eating before our food was even delivered. We had to ask for the check twice. They apologized and we got one of the kid’s juices comped. I assume it was a one-off experience and I’d probably go back at some point but not for a special occasion. As for pros, the food and ambience were fantastic, as always.

   Great dinner. Burger was amazing. Service was outstanding. The lavender martini was the best martini I have ever had!

   Beautiful ambience. Delicious, well prepared and well presented dishes. And most definitely -kind, professional, and personable staff. Wonderful!

   Chicken and waffles are yummy. Brunch could benefit from a couple more dishes with eggs but good overall.

   I feel at a higher end restaurant communication is service. I went for a birthday and didn't realize they were giving us a dessert. We ordered a dessert and then they brought a dessert, then 30 seconds later brought us another one. It was only two of us and we wouldn't have ordered 2. Our drinks sat empty throughout the visit, and we had to flag down the waiter to ask for more water and refill on soda, the waiter forgot the soda and had to be flagged down again for that. Kinda a minimum requirement for $100 a person.

    We asked for a quiet table, and they seated us in a private room practically! Our waiter was terrific. Meal was good.
