Delicious food and great service! We were lucky enough to get a table on the covered porch, so we had a lovely view and ambiance!

All brunch plates were cold and service was extremely slow. 1 plate was sent back and the replacement was taken to the wrong table then recirculated back to kitchen and returned. Needless to say was cold by that point as well.

We enjoyed our experience dining at River 128 with out of town guests. Our server was excellent and food was delicious.

For us it was the perfect restaurant for an anniversary dinner. We were happy with our food selections lamb and sea bass. When my wife pulled out her camera I knew the presentation was on point. The portions were the right amount as we wanted to be full and we didn’t want to have any to go. Location and atmosphere was also perfect as we were able to see the boats passing on the river with the sun setting in the background.

This was my first time dining at River 128, but definitely not my last! Everything about the experience was wonderful--the delicious food, generous portions, helpful waitress, timely service, lovely ambience. We tried the Brussels sprouts and brie platter for appetizers. Both amazing and generous. I had the salmon, my companion had the steak. We loved the whole experience! I highly recommend this place!

We chose this restaurant based on its high rating, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While the presentation was good, the food itself lacked flavor. The spices were poorly balanced, and the vegetable served with the black bass was bitter, while the fish had no taste. We tried several dishes, and none stood out for their flavor. The items on the kids’ menu were even more disappointing.

The food was good although not exceptional and the service was the same. Our overall experience was less than we had hoped though, largely because, of where we were seated. Although we had asked for table inside but with a view of the river, we were seated instead in the bar, as far as possible from the windows and behind a dividing wall. The bar was also busy and noisy.

This was our first visit for dinner to River 128 since the new ownership. In terms of the physical, the best parts of the old were kept and added some new (we sat in the covered patio which is a great compromise giving the feel and view of outside but protection of an inside location. The food was excellent. We shared the crab dip (one of the best), lobster ravioli and creme brulee. What was unexpected was the next level pricing. While we know costs have risen for the industry all the starters were near $20 and the mains (except for a couple) were in the $30 to $40 range with the added steak items in the $50. While we will visit again, the pricing has made River 128 a special occasion visit only.
