Highly recommend for yummy Asian inspired food! We had the feed me menu & it was perfectly chosen with just the right amount of food. Great service too! We went on a Thurs eve and there was a live band.

3 hours before I was to go to see a theatre show, the show was cancelled. The information was yet to be released to public. I called George’s to cancel my booking for two. Was asked by Mr Rude for a reason and I advised I couldn’t give one yet as it was yet to be released to public. Mr Rude said unless I give a reason, I’ll be charged $40 cancellation. I said I would call back shortly with my reason. Mr Rude then rung me, whilst I was at work and advised I must give him a reason and was very rude and I found this inappropriate. About 30 mins later it was released and I rung to advise my reason for cancelling was the theatre show I was going to was just cancelled. 1.5 hours later I was called again by Miss Confused asking me why I was not there for my 6pm booking. I didn’t get charged a cancellation fee in the end but oh my, rude rude rude and poor customer service.

The staff and hostess was amazing, helping us throughout our meal. Despite a small hiccup, they sorted it out with a smile and allowed us to continue having a joyous occasion. The food and drinks came very orderly and it also tasted amazing ! We enjoyed the fill me banquet meal, and it definitely filled us up !

Booked a dinner with my girlfriends as we’ve enjoyed nights at the George in the past. Our server failed to place all items ordered through the system, meaning our appetisers took over an hour to come out. We were constantly asked by multiple servers if we were waiting on more dishes. Clearly a display of miscommunication between the team and extremely disruptive to our evening. The roti came out burnt to a crisp!! Hello….. carcinogens are real, also who wants burnt roti. When ordering drinks we had to constantly remind staff we were waiting, how difficult is it to reorder a glass of red. We were then kicked out as soon as we finished our meal, yet we arrived at 7:30 and it took till 10:30 to finally finish dessert due to the poor service and flow of our meal.

We were very happy with the food, but unfortunately our table was not great for having a meal together - being in the booths in the Centre. I had stated we were coming to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary so being sat where we were made us feel very disconnected from one another.

Great brunch idea and awesome cocktails. Offering so many cocktails food should be more substantial. Food tasted 100% there just wasn’t enough. Music was too loud for a brunch where all women just wanted to talk.

Service poor. Despite advising waitstaff we were going to a show and needed tobe out within 90 minutes, we waited over 30 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Too many people ordering drinks at the bar that none were coming to the people at the tables. Food arrived in parts before the drinks even came to us. Waitress didn't know what was in some of the cocktails or meals. Remainder of the food came out of order for eating it together. Altogether it was disappointing, food was nice but as it came out in unusual timings it didn't really flow as a whole meal. It was happy hour the waitress advised so that's why our drinks took over half an hour to get to us!!!

Unfortunately the value was just not there. We waited half an hour for drinks. The food amount was minimal at best and we were unable to purchase more food as kitchen was closed we left starving. Staff were nice they did there best but things were slow and drink ordered were getting mixed up .

If you want great food in a fun, lively atmosphere The George is the place. The building itself is just gorgeous. Great tasting food, we love the Feed Me menu. We had a very attentive couple of servers who checked in regularly.

Bottomless brunch is the way to go. Menu is already sorted for you and a great selection of drinks to choose from, in the 2 hrs. The service was fantastic and definitely worth a visit, whether its for a bottomless brunch or lunch get yourself there and enjoy.

Excellent as ever! If you want quiet and refrained this is not your place, if you want energy and lots of people this absolutely is your place! Staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. This is always my go to suggestion for after work drinks ☺️
