We were a group of thirteen in The Lane. Pre booked. The staff dealing with me in organising the lunch were excellent. Quick responses and very helpful. On the day itself, staff also attentive and quick. The food was very good. Coffee even better, according to those who had it. The noise level was raised because of us. But maybe turning off the TV would have made it less noisy for other guests. I did not ask for this though.

Great service but it was slow, as I think they were understaffed for Mother’s Day. Meals were ok

Our experience is always fabulous at The George. The staff are always very friendly and courteous. Always a great meal - delicious and value for money. It’s one of our favourites for a great dining experience.

We didn't eat at the hotel. Stayed as it was close to activities we undertook. We travelled with my 90 year old father, and access and ease inside the hotel was great.

Probably the best value for money breakfast in Ballarat ( a group of us eat out at a different Ballarat venue each month ). Would be the BEST breakfast if they improved their coffee blend.

They forgot to save the entree, and my main course then came when I still ate the entree - a no go for me. But apart from that a good choice!

I booked the bistro at the George well in advance as we were staying at the hotel and was asked for confirmation the day before to which I responded. Turned up on the night to find the bistro was closed. Nobody attempted to contact me. 3 days later I received an email from Open Table asking whether we enjoyed our meal with the offer to book again. Not a chance. Disgraceful.
