   A sunny hot spring day, so four of us drove to Margate for the day. Although Margate has seen better days, this establishment was excellent. Three of us had the beef burgers and the third the Korean fried chicken burger. All of them were excellent. A very good selection of local beers. The service was friendly and efficient.

   Was a super Sunday lunch , as always ,staff are very friendly and helpful.

   Had a roast on Easter Sunday, was quite dissapointing. The service was incredibly slow, we waited 45 minutes for a roast. When it arrived, the veggie tart had disintegrated into a mush. The Yorkshire puddings tasted quite stale and burnt. A drink was also forgotten. After finishing our main, we were told we’d have to vacate the table in 5 minutes (we were not late). Overall it was a disappointing experience and a shame as we really love it as a pub, but for the price charged the service and food should be better.

   Lovely food, good menu choices, nice table, not too loud and enough space for our 2 families to sit together. Will come back again and highly recommend.

   We booked a table for 19..15. We were not made aware that the Kitchen closes at 19.30 on a Sunday until we arrived at the restaurant. The waiter explained to us that it had been a busy Sunday and that they had run out of the beef for the Sunday Roast option. The service was efficient but not attentive. Perhaps consider booking earlier if you plan to go on a Sunday. The whole experience felt a bit lack lustre…

   Lovely day out for Mother’s Day. Beautiful garden, and thoroughly dog friendly, even for my rather large German Shepherd! Outstanding service, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great atmosphere. We all had a roast dinner, and the Yorkshire puddings were huge! Highly recommended, will visit again soon.

   Fabulous meal - totally recommend the pork belly !! Lovely venue with friendly staff, quirky decor and great atmosphere.
