   We booked through Open Table for a birthday meal on Sunday evening. Got all the texts and emails from Open Table. Turned up at 7 to be told that the kitchen had closed, and that they only do roasts on Sundays. Most importantly they told us that they DON’T USE Open Table anymore. My advice is book direct on the Gatherers website. DO NOT USE OPEN TABLE FOR THIS RESTAURANT, YOU WON’T GET A TABLE. I will never rely on Open Table again,

   I had a lovely meal at the Gatherer’s. A lot of thought has been put into the dishes and my tofish and chips was delicious. It has a warm cosy ambience and the owner came round at the end of the evening to talk with each table and make sure very everything was ok for us. I would definitely go back and would love to try their tempting looking cocktails next time.

   Good food in a quiet pub/restaurant. We liked a minimal choice (2 items) for Sunday lunch. Service was friendly & attentive. Toilets need smartening up & the website blurb rewriting.

   Polite and friendly staff. Food was outstanding, will definitely be returning.

   The food was amazing and fantastic service, it was just very cold in there. We had to keep our coats on while we ate. I know its an old building but they could get some better heaters. I won't go back again until the warmer weather

   Quite expensive for piece of tofu and few chips on a plate. We have been waiting 40min for food but wasn't actually busy at all. Very poor menu with only 2 choices for starters and only few options for main, felt like I didn't have a choice to choose my meal from. Cocktails prices are shocking. Won't be coming back as I feel like I can get more and better for how much I paid in The Gatherers in other vegan/vegetarian friendly Norwich restaurants.

   I’ll admit to totally missing that this was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant when booking however the food was nice, setting good and service great. Not a place to go if hungry however, portion size somewhat lacking and limited menu.

   Lovely Layout, Nice Staff but the food was food was freezing cold.

    Sadly the dish was more like soup not mushroom bourganion, with a just a few strips of veg, very poor value all round.
