We are back at the Phoenix park Bord Bia Bloom , from the 30th of May to the 3rd of June . A restaurant located in the heart of the festival offering served lunch with an experience that wont disappoint. We are located in the Bistro Bloom marquee right beside the Show Gardens.

Kevin the maitre ‘d I know from previous visits to Bloom. My friend Elizabeth and I always like a seated , relaxed meal and that was what we got. I’d heard about some bad reviews this year but our experience was totally different. Food was excellent, well presented and with a pleasant young lady looking after us. Our water glasses had to be changed due to water spotting but that was our one and only problem. I’m coeliac and my needs were catered for with no problem. We’ll hopefully be returning next year.

Perfect location overlooking the gardens, gorgeous food but quite expensive but worth it if you're looking for a dining experience. Friendly staff and being able to side outside and people watch is perfect.

Noisey - the floor kept moving every time someone walked by. Not terribly freindly staff. Food good though.

We were ignored on arrival. We went to the buffet. My fish and vegetables were very salty. Staff were inexperienced and bland. My guests found their food ok.

Overall it was fantastic -service from the waiter was excellent and food lovely - only thing was initially we were told no tables outside when I could see there were several (at least 10 )with no one at them - after some discussion we did get to sit outside n were there about 1 n half hrs - when we left still at least 5 tables outside unoccupied - I think had we been sat inside looking at empty tables it would have been fairly annoying

Just Ok, wouldn’t book again next year. Ordered wine & after it was poured & staff gone realise wrong bottle was served. The wine that came was actually fine & we didn’t want to fuss. Chef made my aunt a separate salad for starter as other starters were not suitable for my aunt’s dietary needs. Delicious salad, however, mid conversation staff thought she was finished & took it away. Couldn’t get their attention…Dessert read very well, however……minuscule rhubarb, very stingy serving of a fruit in season & relatively cheap. Brioche was a hard as a lump, needed a steak knife to cut through. Neither of us finished, ate about a quarter of the dessert. Staff commented on our plates & we described how difficult it was to eat. Very surprised they were still on the bill when it arrived. I know in mass catering there has to be prep in advance but this dessert was too prepped & inedible. Staff were students earning weekend money, again fine but lacking training & guidance. No obvious manager on the floor. Paid a lot for our poor experience. Will dine elsewhere next year.

It was fabulous and not rushed and really enjoyed it and will definitely book again for next year.

Have gone to Garden restaurant since bloom began. We were very disappointed ths year with the level of service. We waited 40 minutes for our main course despite asking three different waiters. The table beside us left before their dessert as they were left waiting. Also the menu has become way too expensive. I doubt we'll be back after all these years.
