The Garden Eatery is Hale's health food cafe, cozy coffee house and juicery serving wholesome, nutritious, healthy food & cold pressed juices. We take great care in designing a menu which is both innovative and nutritionally balanced and always work from a plant base. We believe a plant based diet is both best for health and for the planet which is why our menu is largely plant based with the option to add dairy, meat or fish.

So come in and enjoy a delicious, nutritious meal, pick yourself up with a mood-boosting tonic or relax with a cleansing cup of loose leaf tea. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Lovely food. Had to wait a while to get seated and then for the food but it was the busiest time. Would definitely try again but not at peak time.

Our first, second and third choices of meal weren’t available, I thought about going somewhere else but it’s a bit of a hassle at the moment. Waiter said he’d ‘be over in a minute’ but wasn’t. It was okay, lovely little place. Drinks were nice as was the company.

Lovely brunch spot. Staff were super friendly and food was delicious!! Not your usual cafe - interesting and varied menu options, plenty vegan and really healthy juices and smoothies too so right up my street!

The menu was very limited and despite not being ultra busy we had a very lengthy wait for our meal. My main concern was the lack of Covid precautions. No staff member wore any facial covering or gloves, despite handling cutlery. No distancing measures between us and staff when taking our order or paying and no screens at counter.

Was very disappointed on this occasion. I booked for 1 pm and it took 20 minutes before my order was taken and another 25-30 minutes before the food arrived. No-one came over to apologise for the wait and I noticed that tables that came in after us were served before us including a minor celebrity who got her order immediately. I have eaten here several times before and have always been pleased with the service and food and wanted to bring my daughter to eat there (she lives in London). It was a total disappointment. i will think twice before coming back!!

Poor efforts on social distancing. Tables close together, staff not wearing masks or gloves. Queue at till with no social distancing. Food was OK and was hot. Seating stained with food.
