Disappointed, what was the point of booking a table, to look at the back of a pair of musicians who sang to the bar staff Food was good value Poor choice of beers Music mediocre but have seen worse , Could be better organised

Definitely NOT a bar. More like a canteen with no music, atmosphere or anything about it at all. Pictures look great online but in reality, it’s rubbish.

Great atmosphere in the venue for my birthday. Band was excellent, though just too loud to allow any conversation inside the venue, They really didn't need any amplification in, what is really, a small-ish conservatory. Food was great, though choice limited, but we knew that ahead of time. No table service for orders or delivery. Because of the noise level, many were concerned they'd missed their "alarm" going off, myself included.

A beautifully decorated setting with so much potential! Unfortunately, it was clear that bar staff didn’t really want to be there and the kitchen shut without letting us know (gave us food menus, but waited for us to order to let us know that they weren’t serving anymore).

We had a table booked for 1.15 and a family was sitting at the table until shortly before that and then got up and left it in a complete mess. We had to clean up and take all the plates and glasses back to the servery. If a table is booked for 1.15 the notice should say 'You may use this table until 12.45' to give staff time to clear and clean the table. Not sure why you replaced the seating that was in there with picknick benches as they are difficult to get in and out of for older people. Also, there isn't as much seating in there as there was before - could fit more tables in. On the plus side the Hummingbird singers were very good and it was a nice Christmas atmosphere.

We booked a table here for two at 5:30 before a scheduled show at the town hall. This was a birthday treat so we had decided to make a night of it. On arrival the staff had no idea anyone was booked in (there were 2 other couples also there for 5:30), the chef wanted to close up and go home and the whole thing was very disorganised. The 4 young staff members eventually agreed to serve all of us as we had booked and would then close up. Took our money and gave us all drinks. Later on one member of staff came to tell us that we would have to have takeaway stuff as they couldn't do cutlery or plates as "their system was down". I'm unsure how this was related to the that. We said fine. Then a little later the same staff member came out again to explain that there was "no supervisor working and the bar shut at 6pm". That "the app used for booking tables had the wrong opening times" and that "it should close at 6pm as it was now out of season. Eventually we got our food which was very nice. However as soon as they had gotten us to collect it from the bar they pulled down all the shutters and all disappeared. A completely bizzare and unwelcoming evening all round. This venue is completely mismanaged, I find it hard to fault the young staff for this as where was the person in charge?

Had a 5.30 booking to be told that ‘we close at 6pm . Your app. When I booked said ‘ closes at 8 pm ‘. The chef did make us something but we were rushed to eat it therefore we had an hour to fill before the concert. Too cold to sit outside so very disappointing. Your app. Needs to be amended to avoid disappointments for future clients.

The garden Bar Cheltenham booked a table through OpenTable on arrival was told there was no bookings for today. Luckily enough we were given a table but not as required outside but inside not a great start that said plenty of lager on offer Madri, Parava, and pale ale lagers, then served in plastic glasses,with no choice,
