   We had a lovely roast at the gamekeeper. The service was fantastic, i added another person to the booking at the last minute which was no problem at all, when we arrived all the staff were very friendly and the service at the table was excellent. The roast was so good, my mum and dad didn’t stop talking about it all day. Thank you

   The food was very good however, there were several dishes unavailable and a specials board on display wasn’t current and was removed when we were reading it. The service was adequate but there didn’t seem to be enough people to cope with the amount of customers, because it was very busy and at times there was quite a long wait.

   Wonderful location in the country, this restaurant is like a tardis for space and the decor is very classy and countryfied. There was a minor issue with some of the roast dinners, but the staff were superb in resolving this and the food was superb. We will definitely go again. Thank you

   Can’t fault this place, been here lots and the food and service never disappoints… would definitely recommend and I’m sure we’ll be back!!

   Breakfast at The Gamekeeper on the 1st Saturday of the month is a must for anyone who values good quality locally sourced food delivered with a smile by people who genuinely value your custom. Great value for money too.

    The Gamekeeper has arrived!! They have refurbished and reinvented this place to where it deserves to be. Food, staff, teamwork, buzz, vibe and general feeling is top level. The teamwork really shows and all goes to make this pub a destination you should be checking out. Thank you for an awesome lunch on Mothering Sunday. You knocked it clean out of the park.
