We are a newly established independent family run restaurant based next to the Historic Boat Museum & alongside the Manchester Ship Canal.

Our aim is to bring fresh and exciting food to you with professional but personal service. We serve breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and sunday lunch.
All of our food is freshly prepared on site using the most quality sourced products available to us seasonally and our menus change every quarter so our menu ideas can be put to practice and enjoyed by all.

As usual The Galley never disappoints. It was exceptional. A local gem and a must eat restaurant. We took friends who had never sampled the outstanding food at the Galley-needless to say they were not disappointed. We will be back.

Beautiful food and great service. The staff are friendly and know the menus well, they will go the extra mile to provide the best experience. The menu has lots of choice and I would say there is something for everyone.

An excellent meal, beautifully presented, with attentive service. Have been a number of times before, dinner, weekday lunch and delicious Sunday Lunch. Waiting to sample the Afternoon Tea which my daughter tells me is lovely. Well worth a visit.

A gem of a place. Food was amazing, had ribeye steak which was so juicy. Red wine was spot on. Cheese board and coffee were also delicious. Ships passing by the window as you eat.
