Service and food were both excellent - we had a great time enjoying brunch on Sunday morning. We arrived a little before the restaurant opened, but the manager invited us in and offered us coffee while we waited for the restaurant to ‘officially’ open. We chatted with Allison for a while, and really enjoyed her hospitality! We were visiting our son for the weekend, and will definitely include The Gage in our future visits! Corn beef hash was amazing!

Vieux Carre was wonderful and so were the Angels on Horseback app, oysters, and burgers. We will be back.

I have always liked the Gage, the food is consistently good and the service excellent.
What a tasty meal! The curry with chicken was a nice surprise—flavors nicely balanced, roasted cauliflower in a delicious sauce with an excellent rolled chicken breast to the side. I would definitely order this again. Also the fluffer nutter hazelnut dessert was amazing—generous portion with a rich, gooey fudge-Iike cake. My friend had the mussels and said they were wonderful.
Lovely early dinner before concert at Symphony Center. The Halibut special was great and the scotch eggs were awesome.
The Gage is the very best restaurant within walking distance of the Art Institute. Even putting that aside, the Gage is my favorite restaurant for lunch in the Loop. Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere.
