   We enjoyed a nice lunch here after reading many excellent Yelp reviews. It lived up to the expectations. Interesting menu, great food, good service despite it being packed. Prices were reasonable. We'll be going back.

   It was Presidents’ Day and it was very busy with only one waiter. It appeared that the owners were at a large table and the focus was on serving them and not the regular patrons of the restaurant. Love the food but disappointed in the service. I have dined regularly and it is apparent really do need to have more than one sever on a regular basis to ensure good service.

   What an unexpected find! I am not sure what was better the incredible food or the amazing service. Such a breath of fresh air for the South Bay! The atmosphere is charming. The restaurant is clean and well done. The food was perfect. Finally a chef who can make the perfect steak! And the succotash with my husband’s scallops was so good, we ordered a second portion!

   My wife and I really enjoyed celebrating Valentines day at The Front Porch, Redondo Beach. We will definitely be back for lunch or dinner, or maybe even stop by for appetizers and drinks. Friendly staff, professional kitchen, great drinks (we enjoyed their Sangria). Also nice to take a walk around the Redondo Pier after dinner.

   We celebrated a birthday at The Front Porch tonight, so we tried quite a few things. We started with the bacon deviled eggs, meatballs and green beans, shared the seafood paella special (only on Thursday nights) and then tried one of the specials- tuna tar tar with black rice and avocado. The birthday boy had the grilled halibut which comes with this fantastic sauce and perfectly cooked risotto. We shared the "drowned brownie" for dessert, which the server brought out without us even having to ask! Everything was super fresh and delicious, and the wine selection is really great. Perfect little spot for a special occasion.

    Had a lovely dinner at this cute new spot last week. First of all, the restaurant has been newly updated and the decor is beautiful and comfortable. A great spot to catch a lunch or a dinner right on the water. The beer and wine list was top notch and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the Fish Tacos, the Impossible Burger, the Fried Pickles, and the Farmer's Market salad. I can't wait to return to try some other items off the menu!

    I went with a friend to check out newly opened The Front Door on a Friday night and it was excellent. It’s in a great location on the waterfront and has a welcoming casual ambiance, open air with a view of the ocean. We enjoyed a carafe of sangria, prosciutto wrapped dates, meatballs, grilled octopus and a burger with fries. Very tasty food in a friendly atmosphere!

    A wonderful dinner at sunset. A friend and I had dinner with our daughters. We ordered the fish tacos, meat balls, fried pickles, and Brussel sprouts. Each dish came out fresh, and was delicious! The service was friendly and the view of the sunset from our table was to die for. This restaurant is our new favorite go to spot!

    Six of us celebrated two friend’s birthdays. We sampled many appetizers, small plates, and one entree. (Dates, ceviches, octopus, green curry mussels, meatballs, salmon, etc). All were delicious. Service was relatively fast and courteous. Noise level was a little high but got considerably quieter (and less drafty) when we closed the plastic curtain to the boardwalk outside. The complementary flan for the birthdays was a nice bonus.

    What a treat! The pintxos were as good as many we had in San Sebastian. We sat at the first table, got to enjoy a beautiful sunset with lovely white wine Sangria and many different appetizers. Highly recommend!

    This place blew me away! So many tasty dishes for sharing, at prices so low you'll think the server didn't total your check correctly! Fiancee and I stopped in here after a massage appointment nearby, and they made return customers out of us for sure! To start we shared the meat and cheese board, which was excellent. They had a couple sheep's milk cheeses I had never tried before, both of which I enjoyed, in addition to the usual bleu cheese, cheddar, etc. The meat selection was great too. There wasn't a single meat or cheese I didn't like. Then we segued to the Brussels sprouts, and OH. MY. GOD. I'm not the biggest Brussels sprouts fan, but these were so amazing. The balance of sweet and savory flavors in the sauce combined with the crispy-fried texture of the Brussels made this an 11/10 dish--so, so tasty. I could eat these by the pound! To finish we split the Basque burger and fried potatoes, which also were excellent. Juiciest burger patty I've had in a long, long time. So good! We also shared some sangria, which I'd say was good but not great--a little light on the fresh fruit flavors (add some fresh orange and it'd be significantly better). And then came the bill--I hadn't really been paying attention to prices on the menu, but was ready to pay easily double what my check ended up being, just based on flavors and food quality! A great meal full of flavors and textures galore, all for a price that makes you say "Oh, that's it!?" That's my kind of beach lunch, and due to these factors I a) can highly recommend this spot and b) will ABSOLUTELY be back!

    It was our first time there and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and a excellent menu. A couple of things didn't come that were expected, but they were quick to make an adjustment to the cost because of their error. The presentation of the food was excellent and the Spanish wines were excellent. The only confusion was that we had made reservations using Open Table and either the restaurant or open table didn't communicate our reservation clearly. This is a small place and they only have some regular tables, some high tops and the bar for places to sit. So if you have a preference, you should let them know when making the reservation. We will return. . .

    The best food for our taste in the South Bay. A limited Pinxtos menu - but what they do they do VERY VERY well! And the value is excellent! And I like the young owner! The pulpo is OUTSTANDING as is the MUSSEL dish.

    There are so many restaurants there and it was confusing finding it and for Parking. Restaurant was much smaller than I expected, no bathroom inside restaurant was awkward. The server, bartender, waitress was a dynamo powerhouse, we were very impressed with her and her ability to handle a large party. The place is really not set up for a large party, too crowded.

    We have dined at the Basq Kitchen 5 or 6 times and the food is consistently EXCELLENT. The ambiance is very very casual - but the food and service will not disappoint. The Owner is there and attending to guests and tables and is very personable. We will go back very soon!
