The French Quarter is a relaxed neighbourhood restaurant & wine Bar in a community of unique and quirky businesses in Newcastle city Centre. We are a friendly and approachable team of people, with a passion for the good things in life. Born from nostalgia for a traditional style of commerce and a desire to challenge perceptions that French dining is formal or fussy, we work with independent suppliers to offer a regularly changing wine list & tapas style menu. We have created a casual and sociable environment where customers are invited to experience our food, try our wines, shop from our deli and share our love of all things French!

    Relaxed, informal atmosphere. Attentive but not invasive service. Excellent menu authentic French presentation and very tasty Enjoyed whole experience. Will be back.

    Went for the second time last night for my partners birthday! Food was absolutely incredible. We sat at the bar which was a lovely experience. Would highly recommend the wine tasting trios. The staff were so lovely and more than happy to advise on food and pair drinks to suit. Highly recommend!

    Wine wasn’t cold enough , very hot inside (but was a hot day). We wanted small plates to come out as a starter but all the food came out together
