The nature of Pub Food is changing all the time. At The Franklin Hotel we try to make sure that we can offer something for most tastes. There are some pretty ‘pubby’ plates – Schnitzels, Steak Sandwiches, Fish and Chips – Our head chef has put together a great little menu of some different tastes too!

Great venue, plenty of space and different areas (bar, dining, beer garden) with various seating options, not crowded together. Good range of beers and good food at a range of value options. Friendly helpful staff. Only downside for me was that it was a bit noisy with a large party present, probably due to many hard acoustic surfaces (although one could retire to another area).

It was pretty loud, but there was so much going on in Adelaide and so many people in the pub - you can understand why. It's great to have many people in Adelaide enjoying what we have on offer.

Lunch for 3 on a very quiet Saturday. We were the only ones in the dining room! Great service (we had two staff to ourselves who were extremely friendly and welcoming). Good range of food on the menu, generous serves and very prompt. Would highly recommend and will certainly return

Took my friends here from Melbourne. Reason for choosing is because you DO NOT have poker machines. We just came from a gambling harm conference at the Adelaide Convention centre.

The sesame seed crusted Atlantic salmon was stunning, and the risotto with the chicken Kiev was the best! Overall a great experience

Sat in dining room, staff attentive BUT waited nearly an hour for chicken bites and hot dog, only to receive stone cold hot dog. Complained and received a free beer and replacement dog a few minutes later. Dog also cold! My hubby are very little of it and they took it off the bill. This is the second disappointing meal there so, despite the great decor and good beer selection, we probably won't return.

Great relaxed vibe, food was definitely above average for a pub and the service from the bartender was top notch. Recommend a visit.
