It was our first time there and we all order different things so we got to taste each other’s food…everything was delicious and it’s in such a cute trendy little area…we loved it and our server Hailey was awesome…it won’t be long before we’re back…I’m dying to try the mac and cheese !!
Excellent experience. We had been to Foxy Brown years ago in the old location but it was so small and the wait was so long we never went back. This new location is fantastic. Bigger and the vibe inside is a chic 70’s feeling (wood on the walls, the lights, etc). The greeter up front was very polite and friendly. Our waiter was excellent. He promptly came to get our drink order and afterwards told us about the nights specials. I also like that he mentioned the prices for the specials so no surprises. The food was excellent. I don’t eat a lot of the comfort foodie dishes lately but things like short rib grilled cheese and many other unique dishes on the menu. For people eating lighter like myself there was certainly things on the menu from fish to chicken dishes. We went with another couple that had never been to Foxy Brown and all four of us agreed it’s a place we will go back to again. This is no surprise since it’s part of the Be Nice restaurant group and we love Top Hat deli and their other places. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. One of the most unique menus around.
This place is AMAZING!! The best of everything we had!! Go here!
The food was pretty good. The waiter tried upwelling us on a $32 meal each and $6 added on shrimp for lunch at 2pm. Generally I don’t spend $100 for lunch, so we opted for something else. We each got a sandwich and Arnold Palmer and lunch still came to $60, which I felt was kind of overpriced. The food was very greasy and heavy. We had a great time here for brunch, but this experience was a miss. I think we will stick to brunch visits.
Everything was great!
Butter Rolls were great and the service was amazing
Wow, terrible food. Just incredibly bad. I never leave reviews of restaurants because I generally think people are trying their best, but wow. Awful.
Very good food, amazing service. Big plus: Tuesday and Wednesdays all bottles of wine are 50% off.
We loved the new location. The food continues to be fabulous. Very unique takes on a meatball sandwich and a chicken sandwich my wife and l both loved. We will definitely return.
We had a great experience at Foxy Brown! Food was yummy, we always go back for the maple bacon wings. All the Be Nice places are favorites of ours!
Amazing Sunday brunch! Soooo delicious! I loved the waffles and chicken! The avocado toast and fresh fruit salad was also amazing! The loaded latkes special was so delicious! Everyone was so happy with their choices for brunch and the waiter, Tyler was super friendly! Everything was really perfect! We cannot wait to go back and try this place for dinner.
Food is always fresh and delicious at The Foxy Brown!
Love everything about Foxy Brown. Service is excellent and so is the food. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Chicken sandwich was moist and delicious, but we asked for sweet potato fries instead of regular fries and they don’t serve them. Strange as this is an American style food place. Steak and eggs were just ok, rib eye was poor quality.
Great place good food
Great new location. Food was very good. Staff was very helpful.
Service was very good, as were heart of Palm fries, and our Manhattans. Fish special very good (pecan crusted trout), my beef a Roni with short rib tasty. Know took over restaurant from Good Spirits, but seating in booths was threadbare. And menu seemed like it could use freshening also. Nice local hangout.
Really like the new location! Great seating options and the food is very good. Friendly efficient service too!
For my second visit, I made a reservation through open table. That made all the difference as they can have up to an hour and half wait. The four of loved our choices. I splurged on the Bananas Foster Pancakes. The potato pancakes were incredible. Each dish was amazing. I don't think there is a better brunch in Broward County.
I definitely plan to go back for the hearts of palm fries. So good, my compliments to the chef. My entree was also delicious. It was salmon with butternut squash and leek.
Excellent experience, love the new location
I was truly disappointed. We are big supporters and frequent visitors to Coconuts which we love. Being part of the “be nice” group we decided to give this a try. First, we were a bit late for our reservation so I called to let them know. I was abruptly put on hold and left there for literally 10 minutes. In fact I was still on hold when I arrived at the front desk and told her she could take me off hold as she fiddled with her mask and tidied up her area. She had totally forgotten I was on hold. Our waiter was half asleep, slow, totally inept. 6 people who came after us and were seated after us were served their food before we had ordered. Food was pretty good as this chain is known but overall we were quite disappointed and would not go back. Yes I know the industry is going through a rough time. I tipped 22% even with this service which is my habit but the experience compared to Coconuts was night and day
We really enjoyed our dinner at Foxy Brown. Service was excellent and the food was good. We had the French onion soup (very good) and the deviled eggs (also good) but we had a chuckle at the plate of 3 halves. My only minor negative was the crispy skin branzino, although tasty, was covered in a juicy tomato, shallot and olive tapenade and the juice made the skin of the fish very soggy. I would order this again and ask for the tapenade on the side. We look forward to our next visit.
I love this place! Food is amazing! The coffee was a bit strong last time but easy fix for them lol. Definitely recommend!
My boss took us out for dinner and everyone was impressed with the new location, food was simply delicious and unique, atmosphere was nicely urban-contemporary. The front of the resto was a little loud so we appreciated being seated in a quieter area. They were very accommodating when our original outdoor seating was a little too warm and we requested indoor seating instead. Parking was also convenient.
We had a great experience at The Foxy Brown. It was our first time dining at the new location. They have great ambiance and the entire staff was friendly & delightful!
Great new location! Biscuit and gravy is some of the best ever
Outstanding. We live nearby and love the new space. We have referred many friends and visitors to the new location. Mangers and staff are "on it" and very friendly. Very happy to see the instant success of the new location. Peach Salad special pared with Mable's chicken, shared... The Best. :)
Great food and service. Love the new location and additions to the menu.
Thank you for the review, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience. Come again soon. The Foxy Brown Team
Started slow, but once our waiter found us it got better. Patty melt was very good. Lots of babies made it noisy.
What a gem!!!!! We found Foxy Brown on Yelp and have been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks. We got to meet the owner Amanda and she has been super friendly and helpful.
We tried brunch and dinner and all the options are delicious. There hasn’t been a single dish or drink we didn’t like. If you are going for dinner, make sure to try their seasonal peach salad with blackened shrimp (yummmmm!) and green bean fries are a MUST! Trust me - you will thank me later:)
Food was amazing.
I really enjoy the restaurant! The menu options on the weekends were based on timeframe so plan accordingly
I love coming here when I'm in town. I love the crab cake benedict.
Food was absolutely amazing service was absolutely horrible.
Foxy Brown did not disappoint. We began with happy hour cocktails and hearts of palm appetizer, delicious and at a great price!
For dinner we thoroughly enjoyed the short rib grilled cheese and chicken thigh with gnocchi. Lots of flavor! I do recommend you try this place and probably make it a regular dining venue. I know we’ll be back.
The food was taseless and not good quality regardless of the price, noise level was high between conversation and music.
The new location was great. Much roomier and a very comfortable space.
Menu choices were excellent and the food was really good.
After we found the new location we had a hard time with parking. There is one sandwich sign that says park in the garage off 5th St. Once inside, we were told that you could also use the parking area across the street. I would suggest that the website be updated to include that information and that The Foxy Brown is in a new location. We had no idea that they moved. The service was really good as usual, and the food is just as good as I remember it. We were not disappointed with anything. I am grateful to the reservation scheduler for letting us add two more guests to our reservation last minute. I definitely recommend Foxy Brown for any occasion.
