   This is a wonderful place to dine before going to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. They even give you a discount. The food is delicious and the staff is very attentive.

   My first time to this location (I had been to the old location on E Broward Blvd). Overall, a good experience. My only gripe would be that the food came out so fast that we could not really just have our drinks first.

   My pre-Parker Playhouse go-to is Doc B's but wanted to mix it up a bit and with some trepidation, booked a table at Foxy Brown literally next-door in FTL on Federal Hwy and Fifth. The trepidation is because they've gotten some mixed reviews lately. Not us! Terrific service from Mary, who was attentive but not annoying. The queen started out with the honey rolls which were fine but not essential. I had to try Mabel's Chicken which was a knockout. If Lucy Cooper in the Herald or Linda Cicero or the nice Perez lady in the sunny sentinel were still getting recipes from local restaurants, I would definitely try to score this one. The queen had a mahi sandwich which was also a winner by her. I had a nice Lunch Money pale ale, a local brew that hit the spot. Plus we had no idea but Mary asked us if we were going to the theater and since we were, we got a 10% discount. Winning!

   Went for an early dinner at around 6 o’clock after a show in Fort Lauderdale. Had an absolutely amazing meal, the best server, and the food was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food.

   For a variety of reasons, it looks like management doesn't care and the place is not being taken care of, as if the place is going to close. The first impression is a messy hostess area with various junk all over the place. We were seated in a booth and table which were very dirty and not properly cleaned. The carpet throughout the dining area was dirty and had pieces of food and other debris scattered all over the place. Given how bad the customer area looked, we could only imagine how the kitchen and other non-public areas are maintained. The food was just ok and nowhere near as good as it used to be. We'd guess others customers noticed some of these same issues, as it was not that busy for a typically busy weekend night. We used to eat here pretty regularly, about once a week, as well as this same company's other nearby place. We probably won't go back anymore.

   Our food was prepared quickly and efficiently. Sitting outside was delightful and we could easily converse at our table. The food was top notch, don’t miss a real winner in the lightly rice flour battered green beans. So fresh and light yet delicious! All of our meals were great. I truly enjoy a patty melt and this was one of the best. My friend and family had three different salad or poke bowls and they consumed every last piece of their dinners! That should say it all. Can’t say enough about the wait staff, their personal concern about us and our experience. We went prior to a performance at the Parker nearby, no problem quickly zipping over after a lovely meal. Plus they took 10% off since we were attending a show! Strongly recommend this spot!

    Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot. We were seated and left unattended for about 20 minutes until I had to get up and ask someone for water. Our server seemed uninterested and not very friendly or attentive. However, after that initial hiccup, everything moved quickly. The food was actually good, and the drink I ordered was also.
