With beautiful surroundings, and a stylish interior, The Fox (Ilkley) is a classic meets modern pub, a perfect setting for any occasion. Our chefs take pride in preparing fresh, delicious tasting food using the finest ingredients. Signature dishes include spit-roasted chicken with lemon & garlic confit, slow cooked pork belly with seared scallops, salmon supreme served with thyme-roasted butternut squash, and our home-made British beef burger. For a lighter bite, our spiralised carrot salad and Mediterranean mezze are both delectable, or for some sweet indulgence our melting golden chocolate bomb with caramel ice cream is sure to please!

    Had a lovely lunch here recently. We shared tempura mushrooms to start. Very nice lightly battered. I had steak sandwich and my partner had lobster sandwich. Both enjoyed our mains. It's a nice pub with a nice quiet atmosphere

    Granddaughters birthday. In general food alright, but pastry on pies was over cooked and very hard

    Unfortunately our food order 'didn't go through the system' and it only came to light when we asked where our drinks were. Nearly 1 hour and 40 minutes from arrival to getting a main course. When it did go through the system we could see our drinks sitting on the end of the bar for so long and I nearly went to get them myself. Perhaps not enough staff to provide efficient service? Rather took the shine off the evening.

    Food very nice but went for a traditional Sunday roast but they had run out so had to have something different.

    Excellent standard of food in an authentic pub athmosphere. Attentive yet not overbearing staff, superb food and service, a real hidden gem.
