   Amazing pub with wonderful service and food. Staff always friendly and go over and above what is required. Our favourite pub in Hertfordshire by far. Come here for all special occasions but made to feel equally welcome if just come in for coffee during the day.

   A difficult time for restaurants but we had a delicious meal with great service. It’s been a favourite for a long time, would highly recommend.. if you shut perhaps deliveries ?

   No reservation when we arrived - staff said that it had been made in error at 12:30 by open table, though email and text confirmations clearly stated 13:30. Seated at table in bar, without much apology or attempt to find a better solution.

   Usual high quality of food service and ambiance. Given the Christmas period the restaurant was busy as was the car park which could benefit from improved lighting. Recommended.

    Okay for Gastro Pub lunch but not great choices on the menu. The open seating was a slight problem when a large party were seated very close to our two seat table and was very hard not to be affected by the noise and conversation of the other table, should have complained, but decided to leave early. That said the Service was good and food was cooked well
