really wanted to like this place as the atmosphere is cool.. has so much potential. the menu SOUNDS amazing but oh my goodness was the food horrible, yet you're charged nyc prices. I mean absolutely insane.. 4 tiny meatballs that tasted awful for $18... there is a reason this was the only place with availability on a Saturday night! won't be back...
Server attentive. They allowed us to bring the dog. We were sat promptly. I just expected the food to be better. Just meh. The corn ribs were wonderful. The menu choices otherwise were just okay. Nothing special. I ordered the papaya salad and it was just okay. This place has potential but needs to work on the menu.
We had a wonderful experience. We were greeted and seated by the owner himself so we felt right at home right away. As vegan/vegetarians there were wonderful options on the menu. Our favorite being the corn ribs!! We even ordered a second order of them because we loved them so much! Service was friendly and not over attentive. Would definitely return and recommend! 😀
Food was delicious, waitstaff was attentive, can't say enough good things! Highly recommend!
The staff is very welcoming and helpful.
Food took long to serve
But our server is very nice and good Ashley
Service was slow and inefficient. Wait staff was nice but appeared to lack organizational skills and constantly forgot to bring the required plates or setup or spoon or drink without us having to repeatedly remind them.
Very creative pub menu. Excellent service, excellent food quality. Highly recommend this restaurant. A nice change after 2 unsuccessful restaurants previously in this location. They got it wrong, The Fox and Falcon got it right.
First time here and it was trivia night so it was a great way to just hang out, eat and enjoy the scene. I really thought the staff was chill and helpful and that made the cocktails and drinks even more tasty, imo. Good gets better, ykwim? So this place got better as the night went on, hence a 5 star review.
I think the food is great, ambiance and people are friendly.
The one slight mark I have against it is the speed of service. Again, the service is super friendly and I think it would round out the place if they had more servers or put in a process in place that would make for a quick turnaround on food and drinks. It did take quite a bit for the server to take our orders, then get our drinks, then our food which took about 2.5 hours by the time we're done.
Could've been a busy (Tuesday) night and perhaps not the norm - but if so I hope ownership will take this as welcome feedback because I very much intend to come back!
We were visiting friends for the weekend and decided to have a date night. This place is great. Nice bar - try the Rose spritzer. Their chicken sandwich is really good and my husband had a fabulous pasta dish. Will definitely return when we are back in the area.
We had an awesome waiter & entertainment was amazing
Decided to try this out on a whim and booked an outdoor table. Very relaxed atmosphere, with the outdoor section set in the parking lot overlooking downtown, under a large tent. Service was very good... food had a great gastropub quality to it, and the cocktails were unique. Nice acoustic duo playing outside that evening. We will be back... definitely check this place out. The inside dining room looked lively too!
Great spot, food was fantastic, lovely atmosphere
Falafel burger was surprisingly very good. I only wish they would make falafel patties instead of the falafel balls. The corn ribs is a very unique take and a must try. The flavors and technique were very good.
The food was exceptional - some of the best ever had as far as macaroni and cheese and fresh catfish in the fish tacos. Service was also attentive and prompt. On the downside, there is a very limited choice of entrees (four). The prices were outrageous. Although the food was excellent, the ambiance is more like a grubhub and there were very loud, drunk soccer fans running around being incredibly loud. Not the place for expensive food.
Had a nice time at F & F. Went for the first time (on a date) and my partner really enjoyed how classy it felt.
Food was VERY good, and the menu may not fit the taste of most, but we enjoyed ourselves.
The restaurant has a limited menu. I struggled to find something to eat.
The food was good, but the prices are absurdly high. $20 for a falafel burger? $59 for a ribeye. $15 appetizer salads?. This is a bar.
Won’t see me back.
Great atmosphere, really a nice place to enjoy yourself.
The service and ambience were great. But the food was just OK. For the price , dinner should have been excellent and unfortunately it was not. If you are looking for a great drink and dessert then it’s fine. The table service was very good
The s’mores dessert was unbelievable but the dinner was not.
Always outstanding. Some great new dishes on the menu.
I was outside next to the parking lot. So no great ambiance. The food was ok. Limited menu.
We love the Fox and Falcon - great food and great service always! And very accommodating for our little ones too!
The Fox & Falcon is a local gem: beautiful and cool vibe, incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful owner and staff, and the food is amazing…always fresh, a small menu (so you know each dish is good), and changed up regularly. I had the best fish tacos of my life last night (and I’ve eaten a LOT of fish tacos!) This is a restaurant dedicated to giving its customers a stellar experience, every single time. A must visit!
Big and lots of tables to pick , two bars and great food . The service was great, we went on a busy time and they still took great care of us
Terrific service, good drinks, great appetizers (corn ribs and asparagus were standouts; the wings are meh; Cesar salad fine) burger and falafel sandwiches were dry/overcooked. Noise level after 730 pm is exhausting. You will be shouting to be heard at a table for 4; please F&F do something about the soundproofing!
Great service, great menu, great ambiance. Also kid-friendly
Absolutely perfect! From the minute we were greeted at check in to the moment we left. Service was great. Menu was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. Thank you:)
We picked this location based on positive reviews. As it is primarily a bar, it is most likely that the reviewers were commenting on the alcohol or under the influence of it. We ordered sandwiches and salads. The chicken was way over-cooked on the sandwiches and nearly noticeable on the salad. At $20/piece for each entree, this was a very expensive meal when added on with $9 for a side of fries!
We really want to support local businesses and love the location of this restaurant, but it took a bit to be acknowledged to be seated and our drinks took over half an hour to come. We intended to order an appetizer, but at that point we just needed to go straight to ordering entrees.
The fish tacos seemed promising, but it was a massive piece of fish wrapped in banana leaves that turned into a mess to eat between charred leaves and the juices. I could have used less fish and more crunch from a salsa.
My husband liked his falafel burger a lot though and the fries were great.
It was loud and the service was incredibly slow. The server was very nice but I put on the reservation that it was a special occasion and we got seated next to the bar and bathroom. Each course took forever to arrive with no explanation. Overall I was disappointed.
Fantastic dinner, drinks, and service!
The food is always above average here, but the service is always, always really bad. Just so, so slow. We were literally there when they opened yesterday (zero other tables) and it still took them a full hour+ to get our apps out. Happens every single time. Doesn't seem to be the server's fault, cant figure out why they cant get it together. We're going to stop patronizing these guys, unfortunately.
Good food, great service, just not a fan of the torches they burn outside, they’re smelly and the ashes fly all over.
My staff and I had a wonderful time playing trivia and eating good food in a nice friendly atmosphere
Went here after a day celebrating our friends engagement.
The scallops appetizer was amazing! Their team were attentive, live music set a wonderful vibe.
Get the Filipino Chicken. Trust me on this one.
Went here on a moms night out! There where 8 of us! We had a ball. The fish tacos are out of this world! We will definitely be back! Lovely chill vibe. Service was excellent.
Always great eats at the Fox and Falcon. I sat downstairs for the first time ever and the service was excellent as always. It was Trivia Night so outside was a party! The menu changes a few times a year which keeps the ingredients fresh. Love this place. Great stop for a meal, drink and just all around good vibes
Cute looking place. Milton, our sever was great. The food was not. Everything tasted stale. Like leftovers that has been sitting too long. The fries tasted like freezer burn, etc.
