The Four Seasons Restaurant

Service was great at times and spotty at others. Several requested items were missed and had to be asked for twice (wine list, lemons, butter). At a restaurant of this caliber that is unacceptable. They are clearly hurting for clients since the move. The room seemed a bit “sad”.
Lovely...channels the old Four Seasons but different and delicious
Great food and service, but terrible music was inappropriate to the setting and clientele.
The newly opened Four Seasons is attractive, and the staff were friendly and gracious. But the food was disappointing. I ordered lobster with risotto. The risotto had a tomato based sauce, which if I had known I would not have ordered. The lobster was moist, but really needed a sauce to make it tasty. I used the sauce from my husband's crabcakes. Even the gratis cookies at the end were not that good. And of course all the items are expensive, which would have been worth it if the food delivered.
The duck, the duck, the duck!!!!
Excellent service. Fantastic duck. Just like the old days.
The crab cake was just ok...not “lump crab”.
Gordon made my mother’s birthday celebration even more special than we could have planned - thank you!
Never disappoints. This is my favorite special restaurant and I bring everyone here and they all love it.
Food was fine, but not worth the price. The room is sterile. The fact that the bar area was totally empty and the dining room barely populated made the room and the evening feel sad, not festive as was intended.
My wife and I had another wonderful meal at this remarkable restaurant. We are so glad that it has reopened. It has its same rather short menu and every dish is a winner. In my opinion, it has the best Dover Sole in New York. Same with the smoked salmon, cut paper-thin table-side. And the duck is out of this world. A real favorite of ours. We will be back soon.
Great room, delicious food and wonderful ambiance. Very expensive but worth it for very special occasions.
Great dining experience. The service was outstanding. Food excellent. Great value for pre theater dining. Highly recommend. I will return.
Superb experience all around. The food is fabulous, the ambiance is warm and cozy and the service is top notch
Due to a food allergy, we requested a non-dairy soup. We were advised it was dairy free. After it was served and partially consumed we were belatedly told it contained cream and butter. The soup was then replaced with another allegedly dairy free variety but the damage was done. Despite this, restaurant nevertheless charged for the soup.
Lovely time. Great friendly service. Fine restaurant and experience.
With the exception of the dessert, the food was bland and just okay. Quite disappointing.
Absolutely fine dining at its NYC best. Smoked salmon, grilled langostines, sole meuniere....all perfectly prepared and presented. Ryan was an ideal sommelier and also oversaw the dining experience. Chocolate soufflé to finish.
The new venue was tasteful and elegant. Noise level ideal for a romantic conversation . We look forward to returning!
Service read really really good, food was good but not extraordinary. We had the pre theatre menu as we were heading to a show after dinner. Value for our food was really good tbh just hope for a little more. The restaurant area itself want very interesting. Previous area at the bar seemed nicer but we didn't sit there at all
I would but only to a few as the pricing is out of reach for most.
It was a wonderful experience. I went with my daughter, as we were going to the theater, and also I wanted to secretly celebrate my birthday which was the next day.
I would highly recommend The Four Seasons, service, food all outstanding.
This is a new restaurant which is just not the original Four SEASONS. Wines were priced at almost 4 times the market price. Did appreciate the original Cotten candy dessert. Very pricey. Age group was not diverse. This will not last
Truly excellent food and service. The best in New York.
This is not the Four Seasons of old. The room is pretty, and comfortable, but lacks the drama and unique atmosphere of the previous location.
The food is very good, and service is excellent even though it feels as if everyone has been doing this too long.
If it didn’t have the name, I would have rated it higher. The new Pool, at the old location, is a more special experience.
Love love love
Service was beyond welcoming and accommodating, and every bite was delicious.
Julius is the most wonderful professional! Great service.
They took excellent care of us, thank you............................thank you
Certanly not like the original. Service and ambiance as expected from a high priced luxury restaurant. The food was average. Could have had the same meal for half the price at many other NYC restaurants. I should have known from the bread which was stale and awful.
Amazing meal! Perfect for special occasions and will definitely return.
Everything about this meal was outstanding however $35.00 for a Chopin martini straight up is obscene. I've lived in the city for 22 years and have never even approached that price for a single martini anywhere. Other then that we a great experience and the pre theater deal is a bargain.
The food was horrible, the ambiance was boring and cold and blah, the price tag was $500 for two of us — altogether a horrible dinner.
I was a near-regular at its prior location, and this was my first experience at the new location. The food and service were the same very high quality I had become accustomed to at the prior location! The ambience was good based on normal high Manhattan standards but sadly not as excellent as at the prior location. But then there are no other restaurants in NYC today with ambience as excellent as the prior Four Seasons’ ambience
We have been coming to the Four Seasons for many years and were at the new restaurant for the first time in October. This time we came for the pre-theatre menu for only $59, a real steal for a restaurant of this quality. The portions for the pre-theatre are quite small when compared to the regular menu but that is to be expected for this price. You have to know to ask for the pre-theatre menu which is only good from 5-6. The menu choices were quite good. The food was better than in October as they had just opened then. We do wish that they would bring back the croissants which were incredible at their East 52nd Street site.
The quiet was great and the setting beautiful. The service was not on the same level as the food and ambiance. It simply did not feel as classy and skilled as the rest — noticeable at these very high prices. But then we were in Siberia so maybe that is where they put the least suave waiters and busmen. On balance we enjoyed ourselves.
Excellent service, food was delicious!! Will definitely return
Amazing loved it thank you so much!!!!
Fantastic! Very happy it is back! The service was outstanding - kudos to Louis - all in all a true, elegant NY experience.
Service was top notch! The ambiance was captivating. I went alone and was slightly underdressed due to travel and tight scheduling and I just wanted some good food in a top tier restaurant. Despite being underdressed and a bit self conscious because of it, I still felt welcomed and was greeted with top notch service. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.
