   The staff were extremely welcoming to us and especially our dog. Very dog friendly pub with good food, good beer and good service. What more can you want.

   Good though slightly overpriced food. We were both driving so couldn’t have any proper drinks, but the service was excellent and in suspect this would be a buzzy place in the evening.

   Server/Waiter was extremely rude. Mumbled to us and would not speak coherently. Unclear what was being asked or instructed. Appeared annoyed when we could not understand the mumbles and murmurs. Food was wonderful, no complaints there, brilliant as ever. However, I do not ever intend on returning if met with the service I received on this occasion.

   The tables they that were allocated were in the corner and very tight but the waitress saw we were struggling so moved us to an open table which was mutch appreciated. The service was good and meal was excellent would book again

   Disappointed no mussels on menu now. Ordered haggis parcels NONE. Ordered beetroot and feta salad NONE. We all had burgers. They were okay but nothing great to warrant a 4 or 5. Not as good as it used to be.

   We booked a table for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks. It was a Saturday afternoon and the pub was really busy with Scotland rugby supporters, but we got our table no problem and the service from all the staff was great and we did not wait long for our food. A really enjoyable couple of hours. Thanks David and Marie
