Server was great but the food and drinks took a really long time. Multiple meals came out 10-15 minutes after some of our party were already served their meals. I ordered the salmon eggs Benedict and there was barely any salmon on it. The server brought me more salmon but by the time I got it my food was cold.
Great Happy Hour
Great place to pregame . Food was very good and happy hour prices were great.
Service was slow. Food was good. Drinks were really good.
The food was excellent and the service was equally good!
Food was delicious, although there is no cohesive theme to the menu. Food seems to have many different influences? But everything our group had was good, especially the walleye and the poutine. The waitress was not very attentive, did not give us specials, and took a long time to bring check. Would go again once seasonal menu changed.
Our server was great. The Foundry was a cool spot to stop at before our girls' night out. Cocktails were excellent!
Lovely place to eat outside before a baseball game. Close to pnc park.
Chicken sandwich is wonderful.
I met a friend for dinner and our entire experience was wonderful. I will return again!
We went here before a concert @ Stage AE. We thought they would be busy bu they were not. Service was good. Food was pretty good. Not all drinks are included in happy hour. beware
Three of us went there for Mothers Day (our first time to the restaurant) and we all had delicious meals - salmon, burgers, etc. Carlos, our waiter, was great! I will definitely go back again.
Mother’s Day brunch. Out waitress was extremely knowledgeable and kind.
We were going to Stage AE prior to the show. They have a nice happy hour and the food isn’t just the same old American Grill selection. I would return
Great atmosphere and place for a group. It was quiet and easy to hear everyone in conversation! Our waitress was great and very attentive! Overall, we had a great visit and would go back.
Great Happy Hour! Dinner was good excellent. Wonderful service.
First time ever in Pittsburg! This is a fun sports gastro pub on a strip of like establishments near the major sports venues! Great selection of beers, both local and imported, and wines by the glass.
Super kale Caesar salad to share. The Lake Erie walleye was delicious, but the accompaniment was missing something! The t-bone pork chop was super! Cooked exactly as I ordered, with yummy sides!
Try it here, you won’t be sorry!
Service was great. Our waiter was very attentive. The good was pretty good. Zero complaints from our group!!
great food great drinks great service..good place to watch a game with friends.
Felt the food was overpriced for what we had. Have had similar items at places around the burgh that was priced better too.
Our waiter was amazing! The food and drinks were great.
We made early dinner reservations on a Friday and were lucky that staff at The Foundry were extremely friendly and accommodating. There were food options that appealed to me and to my husband who was observing Lent. Our server was flexible and when we had to leave early she was able to package the remainder of our meals to-go quickly. The fried sauerkraut on the pierogi was really unusual and unique, and the General Tso's cauliflower was flavorful without being just hot. I thought the boursin in the grilled cheese overpowered the other flavors, but the brussels sprouts side was delicious.
This place was soooo good! Drink menu was great, and the menu had so many delicious options. My friend and I had our dinners narrowed down to 3 choices, so there are plenty of options and it's hard to decide because they all sound so good. I got the fried chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. Delicious!
Very good experience. Variety and unique menu but portions were small for the price. This was based on all 5 meals. Service was excellent.
First time there. Really liked the menu. Food was presented Wells d the quality was very good.
We enjoyed it alot! Will be visiting again when the weather is nicer to take advantage of the patio for a river view.
The experience at the Foundry was not great. The dining room was incredibly noisy. I could not hear my date across the table so I sat next to him. There was a huge table of 20 right in the center of the room. Many of the patrons were loud and drunk. This was at 7 pm. Food was “ok” but not good enough to return. Our server was attentive and professional. Don’t recommend for date night.
I love the relaxed, yet upscale feel of this place – the exposed wood and old maps of Pittsburgh really make a great environment. The fried chicken sandwich was delicious - as was "the juice", a pineapple margarita.
Steak was burnt/ dry, it was really loud in there. I would not eat there again
Definite improvement from the Tilted Kilt. Prime location close to all the sports stadiums in Pittsburgh. Great variety of craft beers and food choices. Delicious food with a rustic and cozy ambience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!
Good atmosphere and great service. The Pork Shank and appetizers were excellent.
Good food and nice interior. Waitress was great, will go back
First time here, LOVED IT! Our waiter Cody was wonderful! The cocktails were delicious! The food was so yummy! We’ll be back!!!
The shrimp, scallops and grits were excellent. Shrimp and scallops were seasoned and blackened but cooked perfectly. Tender and delicious. The bourbon martini was also great. The drink menu is extensive. We will definitely go back to sample more of the drink and food offerings.
We went for my birthday. I was so excited.... but then, The steaks were way undercooked. Sent them back for them to come back again wrong... but we had already waited so long anyway that we sucked it up. My brussel sprouts were well undercooked and hard. Our waitress was friendly but anytime we needed her we ended up waiting another 10 minutes or more until we could find her. We paid entirely too much for such an unhappy experience. Wont be returning.
Great food, cocktails, service and location.
We would recommend and return. We had Restaurant Week specials and they were all fantastic! The meals were pricey but expected at a location on the North Shore between the stadiums.
Nice dinner during restaurant week. The food was good but not extraordinary. Price seemed a little high for the quality. But it is a nice setting, staff was pleasant and overall a good experience.
This is my new go to on the north shore. My husband and I went for an early dinner on a Wednesday. I made reservations just in case because I didn’t know how busy they would be. They weren’t super busy when we arrived. The service was incredible! Our waitress was super helpful with all of the menu questions I had. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I can’t wait to go back and try some other menu options. His place has great value for the money!
Fantastic tasting food but a little loud . Went to The Foundry for Restaurant Week and found the food to be delicious. Mushroom soup was very thick and many different tastes. The gnocchi was also very good. Peach Creme Brûlée's" wasn't my favorite but would definitely return for other tastes. Might wait til spring/summer so we can sit outside along the riverfront.
Lovely experience for our first restaurant in Pittsburgh! Menu is not overwhelming but everything is delicious! Try the ranch popcorn!
Thank you for coming in, and for the great feedback! Happy to hear it. Hope to see you again soon!
