We own a condo in Pompano Beach and every time we come down we make it a point to visit
Foundry. Love the atmosphere, food and drinks are always on point. I have turned several friends
on to this place.
Disappointing service from the waitress (indifferent)... average brunch food... greeter/others were friendly.
Great food as always. Our go to spot. We live down the street and always end up coming here. Valet is awesome, manager is great, staff is friendly and food is amazing.
Food very good
Good place to meet friends
Will be back again
Sat outside & watched a baseball game. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff & good food.
New Year’s Eve dinner. The food was wonderful. I had the salmon and my husband had meat loaf. Service was good. We’ll be back.
All Good!! Enjoyed as usual!!!
Great dinner and service. I had the lobster ravioli which was really, really good and my wife had the scallops which were also tasty Crab cakes appetizer was very good too.
This was the first time that the Foundry disappointed us. It was an early reservation and there was no excuse for the poor service. Food did not come out hot either. It's too high end to not provide good service.
Nice casual place to eat.
The Foundry is a great meal and nice venue for dining. Busy and bustling without feeling rushed and frenetic. The outdoor dining is great. The indoor tables are generously spaced. Our Server was excellent. He knew the drinks list, wine list and menu well and was able to advise us accordingly. The Manager stopped by to ask how our meal was and to our liking. Excellent restaurant for a good-for-the-money meal and evening out.
Great neighborhood place in Pompano Beach...good food.....great happy hour.
Great dinner with a good friend who lives in Pompano. Great wine selection and cold beer! The grilled octopus is fantastic. Tried the fire grilled chicken - outstanding. Every meal was awesome. Service was a little slow. Outside Dining is much quiet than inside. Will definitely return.
Great restaurant. Took the family for brunch and everyone loved the food and the service. Great location. Minutes from the beach
Food was delicious. Very noisy!
Enjoyed the Goat Cheese Salad. Short rib grilled cheese was more of a short rib sandwich with cheese. Blackened fish sandwich is very good. Truffle Mac-n-cheese..excellent..
Went with a group for happy hour. Enjoyed several drinks and shared many happy hour specials.
great food and great service
They changed the menu and removed their best pizza the big smoke very desapointing!
The sushi stack was amazing. Highly highly recommended. The beet salad was good but dressing a little bland. The lobster ravioli got rave reviews. Burgers were good but the bacon was so over cooked it had to be taken off both burgers. Pretty noisy but still nice. We enjoyed it.
Great atmosphere. The outside dining area was perfect. Our waiter, Will, was awesome. Not only did he provide great service, but he also drew us a little map with different local spots for us to check out while we were in town.
The menu is limited therefore the quality should be great however we found our meals to be just ok. Most menu items include some sort of cheese in one way or another so if you dislike cheese, as one of our guests did, be sure to specify no cheese. The restaurant is generally crowded however it wasn't on this particular Saturday evening however service was extremely slow. We are not in any rush to return.
I would like to thank my waitress Kathleen her warm personal smile made my husband and I enjoy our evening .
It was a beautiful evening for outdoor dining and we were seated on the east side, which unfortunately is the only outdoor section where you can get away from the cigar and cigarette smoke that plagues the bar and high top seating areas from the next door business. The food and service were impeccable!
Great local spot. Robust bar scene, super friendly and efficient staff. Perfect spot to catch up with friends and grab a bite and a drink.
Food was great. Service was great. The only downside was negative attitude when arriving when we asked to sit outside since inside table was already prepared for us.
The service we received from Will was exceptional. He was helpful with menu choices, friendly, and saw to it that we had our meal delivered quickly, and that we were happy with our choices. A true professional. Our dining experience was greatly enhanced by Will, much more pleasurable than other visits there.
Some of the dishes were creative like the meatball appetizer. The pizza was totally soggy not cooked well. I had the Lobster ravioli which is as good as Campbell's out of a can. Then the pricing was way out of line for this type of food. Houston's across the street for a tad more the value and quality is 100 times better and worth the extra money. Plus it's waterfront. Foundry is worth a try but dont bring anyone you want to impress. The drink were good good selection of beer and cocktails.
Waiter was great and attentive.
Drinks and wine selection are formidable, food fresh and tasty, portions just right. Great spot near the bridge to A1A and Atlantic Blvd in Pompano Beach.
Started out badly - we went w/a disabled friend and were immediately denied comfortable seating for her, first by the hostess and then by the manager! The seating that was so primo and was supposed to be too full for us to sit remained empty for the entire dinner. Thank goodness for our server Caitlin - she at least tried to make up for the shortcomings anyway. She was excellent. Unfortunately we will never go back after that - it definitely was a new low in this day and age. SHAME ON YOU
The server, Luis was outstanding. Great food. Deserts were incredible specially the coffee icecream that comes with the donuts. The beet salad was excellent
Service is spotty. The waiter was very nice but we sat for 15 minutes before he visited our table. The food was a bit dry.
Food was delicious, had the chicken with asparagus, the waiter substituted a small salad for the loaded potato. Wine was good!
Food is a preference thing. We ordered the wood fired Margaretta pizza and the mozzarella cheese was put on top after it can out of oven wet and cold. I guess this is their Signature spin on it but we did not care for it. Shrimp cocktail sauce tasted strong on Tabasco which also would have been better in a Caesar than cocktail sauce . It was ok.......but not likely to return.
We are visiting with friends that own a condo down the street. They typically go to other places but we thought we would try here on this trip. Service started out pretty good and we had a great table, but soon it became apparent that our server had too many tables and we had a very long between ordering drinks, getting drinks and her coming back to take our order.
My steak was severely over cooked and once they got it right (I finally got my steak after nearly everyone else was done) it was still just tough and tasteless. And, although it was a mistake, I was charged for two steaks on my bill (they corrected it once I pointed it out). Rest of the food was just okay (6 of us and the only one that really loved their food got the chicken). We had to donuts for dessert and they were not good at all. I didn’t leave mad and our waitress was nice and tried - Just felt it was overpriced and under delivered. Wouldn’t go back......so many other better options.
We came here after the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show yesterday, and were excited because it had been on our list to try. Overall, SO disappointing and will not be back. The only thing that made the experience better was our server Cody. He was very pleasant and even gave us a free dessert because he could tell we were disappointed. They up-charged Ginger Beer as a “premium” mixer, the crackers and bread were stale, and the lobster ravioli tasted like it was out of a package. The manager spent a minimum of 30 minutes standing at a table of two women gawking at them, and never even bothered to come over to check on other tables to ask how the experience was. I will be surprised if this place lasts.
Fun place, good food.
Decent service, but entree (bone-in pork chop) was somewhat overcooked/ dry and not served hot. Usually, the pork chop entree is excellent. However, this (overcooked and/ or lukewarm entrees, appetizers) has occurred in the past when dining on Saturday evening, so perhaps this is an issue related to customer volume and kitchen scheduling, but customer volume did not seem exceptionally high. Also, pizza was not hot, but served lukewarm.
