The Foundry Rooftop restaurant is located on the sixth floor of the AC Hotel in downtown Dayton. Inspired by the fire within foundries, the factories that produce metal castings, this wood-fired kitchen embraces the flame. Devour new takes on internally-inspired cuisine with our Loaded Potato Pizza and Ingot Crab Crakes, or our signature Foundry Reuben and Charred Meatballs. Hearty, midwestern favorites from Chef's James Wright and Joshua Cox anchor our menu like our Crispy Pork Belly and 24-Hour Chicken. And with a combination of smoked whiskeys, classic cocktails, and local beers, you’ll always have the perfect pairing of spirits to enhance the heat of your meal. From the hostesses to our fabulous server, Nya, all the way through dinner and dessert, this was a great place to spend our anniversary. We will most definitely be back!

I visited from out of town. Wanted a nice place with ambience; which this place gave. It over looks the beautiful Dayton dragon baseball field. But it was to hot to sit out there. It needs tables with umbrellas. The inside was beautiful a little bit because the windows were open. They are new so I suggest either the vibe you’re trying to give the menu needs to explain to meet the ambience. It was very limited. Pizza, limited appetizer. Burger, etc. I expected more selection. Drinks weak and I didn’t get what I asked for. I liked the place but it still needs work on delivery of food.

First time at Foundry and very impressed. Our group of four tried pizza, dinner salad, seafood and everyone was quite satisfied. Would highly recommend.

First time visiting the Foundry. Greeted with a smile, very polite, and waiting time was minimal. Waitress was so nice and kind. Food was excellent- A1 on quality, quantity, and cost! The menu had so many go choices. We all ordered something different, so we could taste share.Restaurant was clean, lighting was perfect. I definitely will return!

First time eating at the Foundry. Hostess seemed annoyed by us (we did have a reservation) but did move us to the outside seating (music was ridiculous and loud inside). Service was ok. The Cherry Chipotle Salmon was a good but even with dessert I still left hungry. Cool views and happy to sit outside. Recommend the valet parking. I do feel the meals/portions were not equal to the price.
