The Fork & Flask at Nage
Food was great but noise level was high. Hard to hear the person across the table and we were in the dining area. Service was beyond excellent as well as food. Great combination of foods. Ate the fried olives for the first time, very good. Also nice presentation of food. Would highly recommend the reataurant.
Great Mothers Day, would recommend to friends and family. The hostess was amazing. Very welcoming.
Food was wonderful and prices not out of line with quality. Enjoyed it very much. Only recommendation would be to put a pot of coffee on table or have dedicated server to replenish. Server had to take cup away to refill.
Opted for the Chesapeake seafood special for two (kind of a paella) with a whole fried rock fish. Superb. Flask cocktail also good but kinda light on the rum. Server David was tops.
Wonderfully creative menu which changes with the seasons. Most food is farm to table. Waitstaff is well educated and knowledgeable regarding not only the food but their signature drinks.
Celebrated a birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it memorable. Value for your money as the food is fresh and portions are perfect.
Highly recommend this gem which we frequent regularly. Don’t let the location fool you - this is the best restaurant by far on Route 1 for an elegant meal. Dress is not formal but a step above shorts and T-shirt’s.
Excellent choice for adults who are tired of the fast food options for families. Kids may find the menu daunting. More sophisticated than their palates.
Scallops were excellent. Crab cake was overcooked on one side to the point it was black and hard. Crab and corn soup had very minimal crab . No corn was ever found. Not very busy that night and the food took extremely long time to come out.
Gross vegan brunch. Not advertised and very limited. Not even bread. Then they charge $20 per person for $2 worth of food with no device at all. I enjoyed their dinner menu , but this was disgusting , dirty and a total ripoff. I’ll never go back.
The food was great, except one of the entrees, the scallops, came to the table cool. Our waitress, who was wonderful, returned it to the kitchen and had them fix it. That was the only slip up. Otherwise it was a delicious meal.
Food was excellent! Service was wonderful, and when we asked, the waitress asked the chef for one of his recipes. The chef printed out the recipe for us, and then came to our table to talk to us and give us some tips on how to cut down the recipe for a smaller number of people. overall, a wonderful experience!
Great food! Can't wait to visit again! We thought the flask cocktails were amazing.
Delicious Easter brunch with spicy bloody marys, a watermelon and radish salad and ham and gruyere crepes. But best of all: cinnamon toast crunch ice cream.
The food and the staff are both outstanding
Excellent night of a birthday celebration with friends and family.
Love the vegan food options!!!! Drinks are delicious as well!! Have been twice now and both times everything was great!! Will definitely be back as a regular.
Enjoyed the staff and environment, some very good food.
Lucky to be there when they were featuring their butter-poached halibut on the menu before it becomes a summer mainstay. All I can say is EXCELLENT! My husband had salmon with fresh made mushroom ravioli....another winner! Our waitress was great, explaining menu in detail (reason I chose the halibut)...service was great. We started the meal with a Fig Manhattan which was also great. We ended the meal with a scoop of homemade coffee ice cream....excellent as well. Wish we lived closer to dine here more often.
As always, we had a wonderful experience. I don’t recall ever eating catfish, but this was just delicious. Fork and Flask seems to be a good place to give something new a try, because the taste combinations are usually wonderful! Our friends had never been there, and they couldn’t have been happier!
Food was good and it is a nice place but music making it not as relaxing experience.
The highlight of our last dinner here was watching the pastry chef assemble the desserts. For that reason, we asked for the same table. Unfortunately we only got to see an ice cream machine and a Giant bag with cereal in it. Our food (both dishes) were overly oily. Our server, however, could not have been nicer.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was cheerful and well trained. Altogether a lovely experience.
First off I’d like to comment on the great staff and food. My one huge complaint is the kitchens ventilation system doesn’t work in the restaurant! When you walk into the restaurant you are hit by the strong kitchen smells. Sitting at our table you could look across the dining room and see the smoke fume for the kitchen in the air. When we got home we hung our clothe out in closet and the next morning when I opened the door you could smell the restaurant fume on our clothing. Please fix you ventilation not healthy and unfortunately we may not return.
Always enjoy going to Fork and Flask, whether it's to sit at the bar or to get a table in the main dining room. Food and drinks do not disappoint. Service is great and everyone working there is always so friendly! Do love that they offer small bites for desserts - just enough to satisfy that craving, but not so large that you feel guilty for eating!
The food and the service is always outstanding. Shout out to our server, Kimberly! She has entertained us several times and she makes the evening fun.
This restaurant provides the best in food and drinks. I enjoyed the crab soup that was on the menu created by the special chef for the night. I also enjoyed the flask berry drink that I shared with my friend. It was made with blueberry, pomegranate and vodka. I will be going back to try the scallops which my friend ordered and I will also be getting the berry drink again, but I might not share next time.
This was our second meal at Fork & Flask. The staff is always phenomenal and the food was delicious on the second visit as well. I highly recommend it.
Our meal(s) were very unique, pretty, flavorful, and portions were very satisfying. The only minor negative but that we knew ahead of time is that the meals are on the pricey side- that’s what we wante so didn’t bother us. This may feel different at a different time of day and season but we went at 5:00 on a Saturday night in March and had no crowd. We’ll be back!
We got the calamari, and the sauce was overpowering. In fairness, the waitress asked if we would like it on the side, and we declined (bad idea). I had the steak and my friend had scallops - both really good. I would go back.
Our waitress Shon was FABULOUS! The food was phenomenal and the bar in the center was a very cute touch. I got the red sangria and it came in a glass flask (appropriately with the name) and it was extremely tasty. Will definitely be back again!
Did Sunday night FREE bucket of delicious crispy bone in and boneless chicken with purchase of a $22 bottle of champagne!
Yummy!! Enjoyed great arugula salad and many misc side dishes including an $18 cheese board that had some delicious cheese humble fog on it! We “sampled” several $2 desserts that were pretty decent and they ended up complimentary from the manager! ( thumbs up to the peanut butter one!)
Waitress Jessica was very nice and-knowledgeable!
Wonderful dinner. Love the flask drinks and the spaghetti was marvelous. Would have liked to have had an order of bread and or salad with it as part of the meal. But it tasted wonderful and great service
Amazing as always! The Polish Night special was great!
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary with our daughter and son-in-law. We went to Polish night as my dad was Polish and my mom Polish/German so we ate a lot of Polish food growing up especially at weddings and funerals. My elder aunts and grandparents only spoke Polish and made all the traditional food. When I married my husband's mother's family was from Czechoslovakia and also cooked the same type of food. I was so excited since I have not had golumpki since the last Polish wedding I attended many many years ago. My husband and I was so impressed with the food selection that we ordered one of everything and then some more. We thought we would have some to take home but we ate everything except 2 pierogies. The food was better than I remembered my aunts making when I was a child. Everything was excellent including the drinks, wait staff and the dessert. Yes, we had room for dessert. Thank you to the cook and the wait staff for making this a special day for my husband and I. We look forward to eating there again.
Jessica our server was delightful and very attentive. Ginger the Bar Manager is always welcoming and does an excellent job!
We can relay on Fork and Flask for a good meal with a few specials to consider. Service is always attentive and helpful. Only points for improvement are to serve the food when it is hot rather than room temperature as was done with the delicious squash soup that would have been spectacular served hot or the french fries, which are seasoned so deliciously, but again served room temperature. Good food and good service no just got to served the food at the correct temperature.
Always wonderful. Loved it when it was Nage. Love it now. The oysters assagio (sp?’)are great. The special, duck was out of this world. Beet salad was great. Bar is good. Crime brûlée was sinful! Service was lovely. Everything about it was enjoyable.
Excellent service from Shaun behind the bar. Warm ,friendly atmosphere and fantastic food.
The chicken & dumplings was perfect for a cold evening. Alexia was great! Great visit.
Always a pleasant staff, good food. The rib eye had too much pepper corn last night, but everything else was great
Belated birthday celebration with family
