The Fork & Flask at Nage
3rd Time at the restaurant, 2nd for bunch. Crab & Pepper Omelette was outstanding.
My entree was lovely. Crab cake in sweet corn succotash. Really great taste. Side of sliced potatoes in skins unusual and very good. Had almost a glaze. Blood orange fizz excellent.
Limited menu. Ambiance just ok. Overall very nice experience.
When I made the reservation, I requested a booth in the bar area and that's where we sat. The service and food were very good. For appetizers I had the sweet corn & crab soup and my wife had the Burratta Mac N Cheese. Both were delicious. For dinner we had the Fried Chicken Nashville Bau Buns and a Crab Cake Sandwich. Both were delicious as well. The Red Sangria in a flask was very good. Looking forward to going back.
Thank you, too bad did not know about the International night on Tuesdays. Would love to return but depends on wife and her diet. The flask drink was outstanding! Reminded me of the drinks I used to make 40 years ago.
Thanks again, and hope to see you next Tuesday!
First time at the 'new' Fork & Flask (many times at Nage-both locations). Good value. Had the spicy chicken sandwiches (like sliders) - 7 on the platter -- great tasting and lotsa food. Great service on a crowded Friday night. We made the right choice. And you can too.
We found this gem while in Rehoboth on vacation. Food was delicious, with an eclectic menu. I had the Nashville hot chicken, my son had the Korean BBQ chicken, and my husband had the homemade spaghetti. All were extremely tasty. We each got drinks - the two standouts were the strawberry mule and the bourbon thyme (can’t recall the precise name). The flask concept is neat and ends up being a good deal on drink prices. We also enjoyed the deep fried olives as a starter. Summer provided excellent service and was a great help in navigating the menu for my son’s milk allergy.
The corn and crab soup was tasty, but had only a few small pieces of crab in it. We both ordered the halibut and found the same problem. It had no garnishment and no sauce. The presentation was so plain that my husband thought it was goat cheese at first. Halibut is very bland fish and needs a sauce. When I asked for a sauce they were very happy to accommodate and bring me a corn sauce used on their scallops which was very good. Portions were a good size.
The staff is friendly and fast; this is a “go-to” place for us and it doesn’t disappoint. The drinks are great too!
Wonderful service! Excellent food! Sussex County tour was awesome!
I’all start off by saying, we’ll give them another chance to redeem themselves. Our service was great, Alexa was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. She followed up on us several times without being intrusive. Outstanding.
The kitchen needed help in its’ preparation of their items. I got the special, a fried platter, all items were way over cooked, leaving the items hard and all tasted the same 😕. Till next time.
Always great meal and drinks
The waiter was excellent along with the food. We were a party of 7 and mistakenly came 40 minutes before our reservation. They went out of there way to accommodate us.
It was great that they were able to take same day reservation for a large group. Our server was lovely and accommodated our daughter whom has special needs. Food was OK, but pricey. Desserts were amazing.
Anniversary- Josey was delightful. Great personality.
Best soups we ever ate! Also the lemon/honey hummus was divine. Don’t miss the tuna poke! Wonderful service. Great chef!
We were delayed due to traffic accident but notified them and were friendly and accommodating moving our reservation back to allow us to dine. Upbeat servers and staff ,great food and will recommend to others!!
Excellent waitress, Mara, with great food! The scallop special with home made ravioli presented savory bites! Enjoyed not being rushed. Would recommend to others 😃
I had the Black Sea bass
It was outstanding!
With figs and sweet onion purée
Service was excellent
I would recommend Fork and Flask highly!
First time at the Fork & Flask. The food was great. Had a couple of teenagers with us and they enjoyed the tuna rice bowl and pork belly ramen. We made reservations for 5:30 PM on a Saturday. There were only a few folks there at that time. By the time we finished (no latter that 6:30) they were getting filled up. Just guessing but I bet they were slammed by 7:30 or 8:00. My suggestion would be the earlier the better.
DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE KIDS! Does not have a kid’s menu! The food was very mediocre and service extremely slow. Our breakfast was a 30 minute wait. The decor was appealing but stops there.
Another great meal at Fork & Flask. Had the seafood medley (paella) which was so fresh. It included fresh fish, clams, muscles, calamari and crab. Definitely recommend.
The outside is not much and it is easy to drive past the mall where this little gem exists. (If you hit the IHOP on Coastal Highway, you have just missed it). Inside, is a clean, clean cut restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere that reminded me of a spacious beach cottage. It serves multi-cultural American cuisine and some good drinks. I had a martini that was delicious and made my face numb. We had the cheese plate which was good (mustard was outstanding and really added to the cheese/cracker/apple). I had scallops and sweet corn ravioli while my daughter had the tuna bowl. All of the food was outstanding. But, the very best part was the creme brûlée . It was the very best I have ever had and I have eaten quite a few. The special bit was a disc of chocolate on the bottom of the creamy custard. So good!
We tend not to come here during the season, but when we do come, it's always outstanding & we always wonder why we don't come more often. Smart, attentive service, creative dishes, and a wonderful bar service...
If it’s not good during restaurant week...
The food was mediocre and definitely over priced. It felt like a very manufactured experience, would not recommend.
Great experience food was great also service excellent
We sat right away. Our server, Dave was very nice and attentive. I had the fried olives for my app and the Nage Burger for dinner. It was delicious ! This wasn't my first time there and looking forward to my next visit !
the service was excellent menu has been updated very good choices
If you go, ask for Dave as your server. He was fantastic. Also chef Sean and Ginger were extremely helpful in explaining my citrus allergy requirements and accommodating modifications to your menu.
Our server was fantastic. She was very attentive when needed and was non-intrusive when our group was enjoying getting caught up after not seeing each other for many years. The hostess was also great since she gave us our table for as long as we wanted since we were enjoying ourselves so much. And as always, the menu offers refreshingly different selections which are nicely prepared.
The bar service and happy hour was great. The buffalo cauliflower was delicious. The servie was very good in the dining room. We were the only ones seated there for most of the time we were there. We had the halibut which was beautifully presented and prepared, only is was at least day old fish or longer and did not taste fresh. That was a disappointment.
My friend and I always enjoy the experience at Fork and Flask. The food, drinks and service are always wonderful!
We went for the world food tour. The food was good although the Hot Nashville Chicken was almost to spicy to enjoy. On the same note the chicken cooked very well not dry at all. The catfish was very good also. I would have liked to have a salad of some sort included with the meal. We plan on attending the next world food tour on tues.
I have been here many times. Last night was meh! Overpriced and not so appetizing. First time in a while I have to say that. It was okay, that is all
We had a nice evening there. Food was good and the service was great.
The food was fantastic and the service was also great. They even accommodated my over-tired 3 year old.
Food was just ok. Place is beautiful. Plenty of parking.
Over the last 14 years we have always looked forward to dining at Nage. No more. The new format and menu are very disappointing. Bring back the good old days or you won’t see us anymore.
Yum. Always a great meal!!!
