Pizza was amazing as usual. Fried chicken sandwich really great as well. Cheese curds not very flavorful. WaI tress was fanatic

I had a lovely evening dining experience at The Forge on a warm summer evening at Jack London Square. My girlfriend and I were seated promptly thanks to a reservation on Open Table, and we were able to sit outside on the patio in front of the harbor which was great because the weather was perfect. The appetizers were delicious and the pizza was very good. My only suggestion would be to improve the pizza sauce, as it had a bit of an acidic/sour taste. Overall the experience was great though.

Waitstaff and hostess were amazing. We requested some special accommodations and they jumped through hoops for us. Also, food was amazing!

Excellent pizza, and so dog perfect! Dogs are welcome and there's a beautiful view. Love sitting outdoors.

Enjoyed the wonderful bay area weather eating our Heirloom Tomato pizza and the Arugula salad. Both were excellent. Definitely returning to try more of the pizzas , beers & wine.

Forge is one of the better JLS spots, and justly popular. Food and drink are all above average. It was a warm summer night so the place was bustling, but we managed to get a table not in the fray. If anything, the only issue was pacing-- all the food came out swiftly. We were hungry, so that was appreciated, though could have lingered a bit on a few dishes. Pizzas are top notch.

Italian/Neapolitan style Pizza is the specialty at the Forge. The difference compared to American style pizza is that Italian has a thin crust and a smaller number and quantity of toppings. We prefer the Italian style and Forge is one of the best in the East Bay. They also have interesting appetizers and a great beer list from local breweries. We sat outside, and the view and ambiance in the Oakland evening was unbeatable. If you want great pizza, this is it.

We enjoyed our first visit to Forge. Thin crust pizzas were just as I like them (a tad soft but with a nice char from the wood fire), but be aware that the menu is limited. Only a few other items besides pizza. Nevertheless my wife had the mussels and enjoyed them. We had the Little Gem salad and fried chicken wings for appetizers and those were also satisfying. The cocktails were likewise very tasty, and there is a decent selection of beer and wine. The setting on the waterfront at Jack London Square is also quite pleasant, as is the service.

We had a group of 7. Everyone was great and very accommodating . Loved the vibe and food. Music was a bit loud and too much rap for my taste. Otherwise would highly recommend
