   Finding a table on mother's day is never easy especially if you delay your booking and so it proved. To start off with, parking could have been a problem as there is no obvious parking in front of the pub, except for three spots of which we managed to grab one. Problem avoided. We all opted for the set 3-course menu. Our son and myself had the roast beef which was actually pretty good especially the gravy. The syrup spnge pudding however was below par and was served in a Tate & Lyle Golden Syrup can and I struggled a bit to finish that. The total bill came to circa £71 per head including one bottle of wine between three people and two cocktails prior to the meal which was a bit on the pricey side. Also the restaurant did struggle slightly with the service but given the occasion that is probably normal. Overall the quality of the food was good but not great.

   Delicious meal for 3. We chose different things and we all enjoyed what we had, all 3 courses! It’s a pleasant setting and the service was good, not hurried and not slow. Just right. The food looks good and tastes good. I gave a 4 for value because it’s not inexpensive but realistically, this is what nice food of this standard costs these days. I like the fact that tables are not crammed in so you don’t feel too close to other diners.

   Good value food and drink. Ambience was slightly flat due to small number of diners. Would gladly dine there again.

   The food and quality of meat for the roasts was superb. Lovely vegetables and cauliflower cheese. Yum

   The food and service is always consistent and always enjoyable, we’ve been back so many times, it’s definitely one of the best Sunday roasts for miles around! We have tried many local pubs & restaurants near us, but we are happy to travel from Langley to Farnham Common because The Foresters has the best roast dinner for miles around.

   Had a roast dinner here several times and everything on the plate is always cooked to perfection! The roast meats are really good quality cuts and very tender. All served up with fresh Yorkshire puddings, veggies and generous gravy on the side.

    The Foresters is our local pub and restaurant. The staff friendly and helpful and gave great service when we dined there. The owner is the chef and the food served delicious, well cooked and presented. We were pleasantly surprised and will visit again soon. In my opinion this restaurant serves the best food in a fine dining category in the local area. It was quiet when we dined despite being a peak time and day, more people need to try it out!
