When we arrived the Open Table booking had not been received by by the Foresters Arms. They were able to give us a table but obviously a problem between Open Table and the pub. All good for the first 30 - 40 minutes then the pub was totally overwhelmed by the people from attending a pre-arranged wake. Over 100 people arrived within a 10/15 minutes. They took over the whole pub and even pushed into the few tables that had been set aside for ordinary diners. The staff were very good but definitely spoiled the end of our meal. On the plus side the food was excellent as usual.

Booked at very short notice and staff didn't appear to have recieved details but they fitted us in. Food was served quickly and was tasty. Good range of options available on the menu and staff friendly. Had a DK playing music around the corner so a lovely vibe. Parking was on the road

Terrible service , 55 minutes for 10 chicken wings , loaded fries & a salad . Trying to get an extra serviette is a struggle … Staff trying to look busy , while actually checking their phones and chatting . Decent food when it arrives but not a lot of care about the service
