   We had a wonderful time. Service was impeccable. Duck parts and beans were wonderful. Risotto was a little disappointing. The other orders were all very good. Cost seemed a bit high. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Was super happy with our server, the hostess, and everyone who helped us.

   In general, we liked the food that we ordered (candied bacon bao buns, charred octopus, crab cake, and roasted beef short rib), if you like butter. The scallops deluxe, although tasted decent, was over priced - 4 medium size scallops for $34. If I dine at The Food Market again (don't know if I will), I would only get the "Small" menu items; it's better value than the "Large" menu items. Our server was friendly, but the server also didn't refill any of our empty water glasses. The restaurant ambience is interesting, but a little noisy. In my opinion, The Food Market is worth trying once, but there are better restaurants in the Columbia, MD area.

   Great experience all around. The mahi tacos were the best I’ve had anywhere. The fried oysters and fish dishes were also excellent. The server Jeffery was engaging and friendly, and offered some great recommendations.

   The popcorn compliment was well seasoned - it would have been better if the popcorn was freshly popped. The Brussels Sprouts small plate was very good with a great dipping sauce - a few more full sprouts please, too many leaves. The octopus small plate was delicious. The pork belly small plate was just OK. The duck parts large dish was excellent with lots of lamb and great sides, though priced a bit high. The pickle brine friend chicken was also delicious with interesting sides. The scallops dish was just OK. Our waiter, Jeffrey, was very attentive, knowledgeable and thoughtful. We’ll go back, just wish their prices were just a bit lower!

    Fantastic food and quality service. Wanted to order more but my stomach could not expand any further. The only negative is that it is very loud in the dining room. Wish they would put up some kind of sound dampening...but this is a minor quibble. Been here a few times now and every time both the food and service have been fantastic. Definitely going back.

    The ambience and service were great. The food was a mixed bag. We had several dishes including, Roast Beef Short Ribs, Shrimp and Grits, Spicy Cheesy Herby Creamy Winey Garlicky Shrimp, Street Tacos, Pat Lafrieda Burger, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Crispy Lobster Fingers, and Big Ole’ Mozzarella Sticks. The lobster mac & cheese, crispy lobster fingers, and short ribs were very tasty. The burger was ok, we asked for medium, but were served well done. My son didn't want to complain, so he ate the burger as served. Both of the shrimp dishes, and the street tacos were bland. If we return, we will try different items.

    Delicious food! Many little, small and big plates to choose from. We had the Amish pretzels, Steak and Cheese Buns, Mozzarella Sticks , Mahi Tacos and of course the amazing Lobster Fingers. We shared a burger and the steak frites. Each item was well prepared. Heath bar bread pudding a dessert worth getting and sharing! Service is excellent.

    Food service ambiance drinks everything was perfect. Food came out quick and tasted delicious. Waiter was knowledgeable and efficient. Took my wife here for Mother’s Day, one of her favorite spots, and we will definitely be back.

    We really enjoyed the Lobster Fingers. Everything else was OK. Nothing memorable. Very hyped up in the review groups and yelp,but glad to finally try the food. Very Expensive For The amount of food you receive.

    If you are hungry for good breakfast get The Army. They start you off with complementary doughnut holes that are warm and delicious. Asher took care of and did an exceptional job.

    Food is creative and excellent. Loved the octopus and fried oyster appetizers. The duck entree is pricey but so yummy! Interesting specialty cocktails. A bit on the loud side, but there is great buzz of people having fun.

    Nice vibe, friendly service, varied menu, reasonable prices. Kevin took GREAT care of us and the food (lobster fingers, brussels, pork street tacos, spaghetti and crab meatballs) was delish. This place is deservedly VERY popular. Reservations during prime dining hours highly recommended...we'll be making our next reservation soon!

    It’s a super busy restaurant, but having to wait with unclear expectations around how long when you have a reservation is tough. Once we were seated everything was good and our waitress was lovely. All of our food was good. My only complaint is with the crab soup. This crab soup did not have enough crab or food enough, too much broth.
