   This place serves delicious food for a reasonable price as well as nichey drinks for an above average price. The atmosphere is definitely casual so dress in comfotable clothing! Dont wear a tie or slacks. Jeans, shorts and a t-shirt will work fine. A polo is dressy here. The food is definitely worth the visit if you can tolerate the open space (AKA “noisy”) environment. This is a pretty bustling place and the tables are close. Our waiter was nice, but there was an entire family that came in, sat down, was served and was almost finished eating by the time we were served…. same waiter… So that’s why the markdown on service. Fun and casual restaurant.

   Extensive menu with lots of interesting options. Small plates allow for sampling of a wide variety of foods. Overall, the food was delicious. Could have better wine options. Key lime pie for dessert was outstanding.

   This was my first time at the Columbia location. The atmosphere was great. Service was amazing and the food was great as I expected. Food came out really quick. I highly recommend the short ribs.

    Our vote for Howard County’s Number One Best Overall Dining Venue — The Food Market! We reserved Easter Brunch for our family and, in an Open Table message area, we requested two special dishes from the dinner menu to honor the memory of a family member. As we were seated and ordered drinks, both special dishes appeared at the table unannounced, without asking, and with smiles! This was a very gracious and much appreciated gesture by The Food Market chef and management that brightened our family holiday brunch. Best food presented in a fun atmosphere by Lucia, our smiling and personable server…Thanks!
