Owned and operated by John Crook and his partner Erik Heck, The Flying Pig Olympic Village is referred to as a nouveau Canadian bistro in the community for its fresh, local ingredients and quality food. The restaurant is known for its contemporary Canadian and seafood specials. It has a nice décor comprising of a combination of dark and light colored wooden furniture, along with brick style and white painted walls. The ambiance is casual and welcoming, and customers prefer to have brunch, lunch and dinner here.

The Flying Pig Olympic Village has separate menus for dinner, lunch, brunch and happy hour. There is also a wine & beverage list featuring different types of drinks from the restaurant's full bar.
The Flying Pig offers late night Happy hour from 9pm-close 7 days a week.

Another great meal at FP Olympic Village. Totally bummed this place is closing soon. Praying they open again nearby, though I haven’t heard any plans to do so.

FRESH Fish, lovingly prepared! The accompanying risotto was spectacular and broccoli rabe delicious. LaCrema Chardonnay was the perfect accompaniment. The croquettes were ok/ I have to remember I’m just not fond of fried foods. Well seasoned and flavorful, just fried. Excellent service in a wonderful neighborhood restaurant full of “regulars.” We felt right at home.

The vibe? Relaxed but lively — the kind of place where you can wear jeans, order truffle mac & cheese, and feel like a champion of good taste. Speaking of good taste: the crispy Brussels sprouts were outrageously addictive. Whoever decided to pair them with bacon deserves a raise and a hug. The wild mushroom pappardelle was the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes after the first bite and whisper “oh wow.” The maple-glazed pork chop was juicy, smoky, and sweet — basically what pork chops dream of becoming. As well as the truffle mac & cheese… because kids. Service was attentive and cordial without hovering. Would I return? Without hesitation.

Late reservation, lots of options for seating. Great service from bar staff. Food was excellent, consistent from past experiences.
