   A superb night with beautiful food and amazingly nice staff. I brought my mum out for mothers day dinner. On arrival, mum was presented with a complimentary glass of prosecco and a beautifully presented gift bag with lots of skincare treats in it and a rose! The staff were so unbelievably helpful, friendly and attentive and really made the night for both of us. Finally the food was just terrific in terms of value and quality - a really competitively pitched menu with great options and the quality of starter, mains and dessert was beautiful.

   Mothers Day menu was great, extremely good value for money. Made a huge effort for Mothers Day with little goodie bags, prosecco on arrival. Service was lovely, nice break between courses, portions were very big but lovely. Dessert was superb! Music was slightly loud and could have just done with been slightly lower but apart from that, great day.

   Andrea made us so welcome, as always. On arrival, we mentioned to her that we only had an hour for lunch, as we were going to the cinema afterwards. She assured us that she would have us there on time, and met our deadline with her usual smiling efficiency! Esther

   Music was excellent. Held the couple of full tables that were they. Only for the music and musician we would have practically been on our own, no ambience whatsoever which was a real pity due to lack of tables in use. Food good. Service good.

   The restaurant was not busy but it appeared they were short staffed - drinks took ages to come after being ordered my cocktail - a Cosmo was served in a tall glass over ice ! I had to go and ask where one of our drinks were after waiting over 20 minutes The foot was very average and again very slow service Staff were pleasant - it’s a lovely venue but I couldn’t recommend

   The ham hock terraine was a top class starter. My partner enjoyed the quality fish and chips and my lamb was cooked to perfection. Service was not up to the same standard. For example we were not offered water and the starter came before our predinner drink despite specifically requesting that it be served first.

   The service was very pleasant but very slow food service from the kitchen and it took an hour for the main course The kitchen did not have some very basic things… mustard, cream, vanilla ice cream, bread and butter

    Starters fine good even. Mains really poor more like bad bar food. Everything loaded onto plate and all covered with gravy. Not restaurant standard. However the waiting staff really nice, helpful and efficient. Pity about kitchen staff. Also singer really good.

    AWFUL Food was terrible. Every dish was overcooked and overpriced. Some dishes were also incomplete! Staff were friendly but not experienced. Lovely setting So so disappointed. Avoid this place, you have been warned.

    A bit disappointed with the food. Burger was not nice I have to admit. It was poor quality beef. All other food was fine. Serving staff were very nice but seemed to be under pressure. I have been in the location before and it is a very nice venue. It is a pity the food wasn't up to the venue. Also the menu on the website when booking was different to the menu presented at the restaurant. It seemed to be a very basic menu. I was expecting a more fine dining experience as per the menu. I had chosen the location as a Birthday dinner location but unfortunately it did not match what I was expecting. If the food was better the overall experience would have been fine.

    The service when we arrived was a little slow considering there wasn't a big crowd in. Once we got going though it was great. Food was sensational and the Christmas set menu was such great value.

    Food was decent however i think the staff was quite unprofessional. The server we had was lovely however rest of staff we’re constantly chatting around us. It happened twice where we were brought food to us and asked if we had ordered it and we had not. The attitude was very poor when we told the servers we had not. At one stage there was a sever walking around with with two dishes aimlessly around the restaurant for about five minutes. As someone who works in the industry I know that is not normal. We were seated at 4:30 just as a large group were leaving. We were on our main course before anything was cleaned. Not very nice sight to look at while enjoying a meal.

    The ambiance was nice, the service good enough for a place that serves food below avarage. We didn't really get the questions "How is the food?" I guess because they know that the food is not good... Especially for that price!

    The ambience and service were both very good. However the live Elvis tribute act, though well performed, was not what we wanted while we were trying to have a meal and a chat. Food portions were a bit OTT, including an entire melted camembert served as a starter, and an enormous dish of parmesan fries as a side.

    It was a no brainer to go back....the restaurant experience was good and service fun. The fish n chips was gorgeous and the batter was so crispy.My wife had the chef special and was amazzzzzzzzing....I ended up stealing food off her plate...they were just the most fantastic prawns. We have re booked for Saturday week to dine and watch rhe live music show...🐥🐤🐥🐤🐥

    Probably the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The cocktails weren’t made correctly and were missing ingredients. It was like drinking nail polish. Out of the 2 starters, one was not as described, the other was just ok. We didn’t receive a main course as after 1.5 hours we gave up and walked out. Frankly I refused to pay for anything but the starter and my friend, for the wine. I’m very glad this was not a special occasion and we will not be back.Ever.
