About this restaurant

Simon and Shelly would like to welcome you to The Five Bells in Ringwould.

Having been built in 1729 as a farm, the pub was granted a full license in 1784 and has been selling beers, wines and spirits ever since.

We have a fully stocked bar, and now we can offer freshly hand-prepared pizzas from The Village Pizza Company.

Our Recession Buster menu is launching on Sunday 2nd March 2014 - with our Sunday Roast (main courses at only £ 7.95). Plus a full menu available daily (between 12 noon and 3pm, and from 5pm).

We can offer the use of the bar and restaurant for functions of any type, and can provide buffets for up to 100 people, tailor made to suit your requirements.

We also offer accommodation, in modern and bright rooms all with en-suite facilities.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Five Bells.

Came as a family of 6 not knowing anything about this pub, what a revelation, really lovely, well cooked food. One of the best Sunday roasts we've eaten out in a very long time. Even though they were busy (mothers day) the service was quick and friendly and only £6.95 per head!! Great food and great value.

Lovely village Pub/restaurant. Friendly staff, great decor. Only thing that let it down was lack of parking. But worth it. An enjoyable evening

Arrived at the five bells lady behind the bar was very friendly. We ordered our food the wait was only about 10 minutes but when it arrived oh my god it was amazing. The steak and ale pie was so tasty and really big portions, my daughter and I shared a pudding because we were so full. I would definitely recommend the five bells excellent food great atmosphere lovely and polite owner.

Took the family for a Sunday Lunch to celebrate a birthday. This is the first time we have been, staff friendly, didnt feel rushed, service great and food lovely. We will go back again, maybe for an evening meal next time.

Excellent value and good food. Only thing was the music was a bit loud for background music, and it took another person to ask for it to be a bit quieter before any action was taken, and despite asking if the banoffee dessert had coffee in it, and told no, in fact it did but luckily not too strong as the person who ordered it hates coffee.
