Great service. Nice atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and menu options for food options.
Another great meal! Never been let down. Server was great-personable, knowledgeable and very pleasant
We made an early dinner reservation at 6pm on a Saturday since we had our young children with us. We were 1 of 3 tables occupied in the entire restaurant for approximately the first 45 minutes of our evening. We waited an hour and forty minutes for our food. The server apologized several times and would tell us 5-6 more minutes for food. 1 hour and 40 minutes later my son’s burger came without the cheese or bacon he ordered, my daughter’s salmon was raw and had to be sent back, my husband’s filet and my short rib dinner were lukewarm at best. My 4 year old daughter waited another 20 minutes for the salmon to come back to the table. The restaurant keeps a bottle of water on the table for diners to refill their glasses, we ran out of water so the server took the bottle to refill it. We never got the bottle back. We asked several times for more water and she kept apologizing saying they got slammed and were low on water bottles. The server tried her best and gave us a discount but overall it was an awful experience made even worse by 2 starving children who just couldn’t seem to get a meal in a timely fashion. We would not go back and would NOT recommend this restaurant.
Our waiter was very knowledgable and helped us with our order. I love the ambiance. Very young and hype but I didn't feel out of place as a 55 year old. Beautiful bar. Great fun cocktails to choice from.
The food was delicious! Best beet salad I’ve ever had! The ambiance is great for a date night!
We’ll be back!
Great brunch! Our group had a great experience! Food and drinks were all so good. Our waiter was exceptional ! Very attentive, engaging and thoughtful but not in our faces. He knew just what we needed and when and made sure we had a great experience. Suggest a reservation. Got a little loud but wasn’t awful. Would def go back!
Grits were fabulous!
Charcuterie cane after dinner due to running out of meat? It was delicious but service was sub par.
Food was outstanding. Our party of 3 had Halibut, Steak, Chicken. All 3 were excellent. Wait staff was excellent. Environment was quaint and appealing. Only miss was we ordered after a large party and it took quite a while for our food to come. The wait staff acknowledge and apologized. All in all, a great spot we’d go back to.
We had an early dinner which was light and delicious, yet filling. The mushrooms and Swiss chard are flavorful as well as the lamb ribs! All accompanied by sparkling rose!
Dinner was flavorful, artfully presented, and helpful, friendly service! We each got the lamb ribs and split a beet salad, roasted mushrooms and Swiss chard. We each had rose with dinner—one sparkling and one still, which perfectly complimented our meal. Rachel our server was helpful in advising us on our selections and delightful to interact with.
Loved it for brunch. The Chia pudding was amazing! Fantastic service, location, and ambiance. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in Savannah.
Went to The Fitzroy to try a new place while visiting Savannah. The food and service were excellent. Everything was well prepared and atmosphere was great. They even have a small rooftop patio.
Cool diverse menu and fun atmosphere. Rooftop terrace is nice on a breezy night. Two words: Beyond Burger!
Food took an hour to come out and people who sat down after us were eating link before we did. Once the food finally came out it was cold and not enjoyable. Our waitress hardly came to check on us even when she knew that our food was taking and extremely long time. There was no apology for the long wait on food. It was probably the worst experience I have had there and I’m not sure that I want to return.
Such a great spot! Good food, good people, good cocktails. Its a beautiful space, with a great outdoor dining area upstairs. The main dining room is a very open concept so expect a fun and boisterous atmosphere- not a quiet intimate setting. The fritto misto starter is killer!
As always, the Fitzroy is a wonderful experience. The food is delicious and perfectly prepared and the service always great. It was a lovely evening so we ate on the outside roof deck. What could be better?
This will be my go too place from now on. Even though our table was not ready, the management, found us a seat at the bar until our table was ready (about 10 minutes). The hostess, owner, came by and apologized for the delay and chatted about there restaurants and food service offering a very personalized manner. It was a first experience for us. Low and behold I was served a very nice imported beer complements of the management, again a first. Cocktails were right on as were the appetizers and entrees. I had Steak Frites medium rare which was cooked to perfection and my other half had salomon again perfectly done and presented.
Happy hour is great at The Fitzroy - all drinks 50% off. We had a group of six and all of our food was delicious. It was quite a bit louder in there than usual as we went on a day where The Fitzroy was raising money for a local Ranger and his family. I would highly recommend them for both brunch and dinner. Never a disappointment!
Went here for brunch. Was slightly understaffed as far as waiters/waitresses. Food came out quickly. Portion sizes were on the small side for the price. Great tasting food.
Food was great and so was our waiter!! He was very attentive to our questions especially since there were food allergies involved. Overall great experience and food!
Great food, good service will visit again
Wonderful experience. They set up the private dining room for just my husband and I. When we got to our table, there was complimentary sparkling wine. Our server was very attentive
Great brunch at The Fitzroy. Food was delicious and the staff very personable. Our waitress Tara was excellent.
Its decent food but overpriced for what it is. They do take reservations for brunch which is a plus.
Beautiful ambience. Delicious cocktails. Very tasty food.
Scallops (the special of the day) were so undercooked that they were translucent and gummy. They were also served at room temperature. Staff seems nice and the decor is very cute, I just hope the kitchen works out the kinks soon.
Went for brunch. We were the first table seated at 10am when the place opened. Waited over 45 min for food. After the wait expected it to at least be hot but my dish arrived lukewarm. Food was underwhelming and portions small. When we left just after 11am, the restaurant was full and we were the only table that received food.
The Fitzroy was a cool, hip ambience in the heart of downtown Savannah. It was dimly lit with oil lamp style lighting, a dark black interior with accents of turquoise. The food was an upbeat version of classic southern food and had some Asian fusion as well. Service was not the best, but it was also very busy.
Our table all had the Death by Strawberries cocktail and it was fantastic. The braised short rib entree was killer. Others at the table had the shrimp roll and seafood pot and loved both entrees. We will definitely visit The Fitzroy again next time we're in Savannah.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back again the next evening for drinks and an appetizer. Strawberry cocktail was delicious.
Loved it! We had the arugula salad, salmon and seafood pot. Great bar service and luxe atmosphere.
The food was terrible. I really appreciate how great the server was, but my meal was terrible. The poached egg was extremely undercooked. I couldn’t even use a fork to eat them; it just fell through the prongs.
Wonderful service & an extensive menu. Great cocktails.
Service was super slow. Food was just ok. Average for Savannah, poor for NYC.
My wife had the ages Benedict, and I had the Ricotta pancake, and an order of sausage, which was recommended by our server.. the pancake was dry, and was the worst pancake I’ve ever eaten. The sausage had way to much sage in it, and I only had two bites. Extremely disappointed in the food, but the service was good. Would not go back.
Pretty good but feels somewhat overpriced for the experience and quality.
Wonderful dining experience!
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere!!
Moroccan Scramble was very authentic to the region and the best brunch I've had in ages!
