Six of us in our party - and we all had a great time and a wonderful dinner! John, our waiter, was friendly and most helpful. Among us we ordered several different appetizers and entrees, and all were delicious. Little extras like the 'amuse -bouche' and the plate of tiny pastries at the end put a fun finishing touch on a most enjoyable dining experience. We'll be back.

THe table service was slow but not a problem when catching up with friends. However the food was below acceptable. 2 Eggs Benedict entrees had hardened yolks. Both were returned and the return to table was roughly 25 minutes. The side potatoes were not reheated when dish came back. No refilling service to water or coffee and other meals were poorly plated. There was an apology but no discount or removed items from the check which I think would have been a good gesture. The bill was ~ 70$ for 4 egg dishes and no cocktails. I would not return for brunch.

There was a problem in the kitchen that evening and the food was delayed quite a bit. I was with a good friend so I didn't mind but the people next to us were delayed a lot. They had an event to go to. Luckily we came after the theater. The waiter was most kind and kept apologizing for the delays!!!!

Really neat atmosphere that definitely captures the Scott Fitzgerald era. The decor is beautiful. The food is inventive and delicious- the chipped beef appetizer is fabulous. The signature Gin Rickey is tasty, and their bourbon list nicely comprehensive. Be aware that the restaurant is on the pricey side, but is a great place for a special night out.
John, our server, was professional and knowledgeable. I would say he was one of the best servers we have had anywhere. The food service was very slow though. We did tell them that we were not on a schedule to go anywhere, but the time gap between apps, salads, dinner, etc. was looong.

The Fitz wants to take you back to the Art Deco era of F. Scott Fitzgerald. With a limited menu and extremely slow service, it's going to take some doing.
The room is small and when we were there it was very busy. But a good restaurant should be staffed to handle a full house. Our drinks order was taken immediately. Our starters arrived at a convenient time, but my friend's mushroom soup was way too salty and was sent back. Fortunately my salad was abundant enough for several diners, so we shared the salad. And waited for our entrees.
I ordered Brook trout with fingerling potatoes and was able to substitute Brussels sprouts for the offered kale. My friend had a pork chop with roasted fruit. All was delicious. We were never offered dessert menus or coffee. We did, however, get 3 tiny complimentary cupcakes with a candle to celebrate my birthday.
We were able to take the free shuttle to our concert. That was a definite plus.
But altogether I do not think Scott and Zelda would have approved.

Great service for our group of six lunchmates. Sandwiches were well presented and nicely prepared. Most of us were satisfied. The two diners who ordered a chef salad said that the pepper that had been sprinkled on the salads as a spice/seasoning/garnish made them much less enjoyable than expected. The aleppo peppers (as our waiter informed us) was an addition that the ladies who had the salads did not expect. Both of them are very adverse to anything hot, spicy, or peppery...and therefore usually feel 'safe' when ordering this entree. They felt they should have been told that strong pepper would be part of a chef's salad.

Food was good - waiter - very good, great customer service - free shuttle to the play! I would prefer better options for a brunch menu. More omelette choices or egg dishes.
