The seafood is so fresh and delicious. Had the scallops and tiger shrimp and they did not disappoint. The sides were wonderful too!
Dined with our daughter's family for a late lunch with a two and four year old. Waited for 20 minutes to be seated for our reservation, and waited for another 10 minutes at the table before the waitress acknowledged us (with a 2 year old and a 4 year old). We had hoped to grab a quick lunch after touring the Midway, but everything was so slow it turned into a very long lunch (with a 2 year old and 4 year old). The kids were pretty good but the wait made them anxious and grumpy. Thank god for cell phone movies. The food was just ok, but expected more from a nice fish restaurant. My daughter's scallops were great, though.
Always enjoy dining here. The fish is fresh and cooked from simple to a bit more complex. Great views as the restaurant sits on the water. One of the best in San Diego!
Great service and the location is beautiful , nothing like eating by the ocean
We changed to Top of Market instead of Fish Market for dinner since it was a special occasion and survey is for that place. I made a mistake when I made the reservation as to what restaurant I wanted. The Survey is for Top of Market.
Last minute idea to go and we got lucky to book a time on open table. Had my favorite and my hubby his . Still so yummy! Comfort food at its best! Our go to place for awesome eats and great view! Yummy food always.
Great view food and service! The clam chowder is absolutely amazing! There is a variety of seafood.
We love dining here.
Food and services were excellent. Suggest making a reservation.
The food was absolutely delicious. There service was above and beyond
Nice place! Cant go wrong with the clam chowder and the chopino. Just a suggestion, dine after 8 because before 8, you have to pay for the parking meters which are stupidly expensive at $2.50 per hour, which might not be a problem for some, but for the people concerned about money, keep that in mind.
Enjoyed the food and service while we soaked up the sunshine and watched the boats/water!
First time dining here, love the experience . Will definitely be back
We love the Fish Market. Very casual, food is super fresh and service is very good. Always a large selection of fresh fish served in a multitude of ways. For special occasions, the elegant upstairs Top of the Market has its own menu. Very popular spot and surrounding tourist area, so parking can be a challenge.
Parking is with meter or valet, not much free parking around anymore. With reservations, very little wait time to be seated. Our on-line request for a window seat was granted. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and very good at his job. Food was delicious. Everything seemed very fresh and was prepared perfectly. We shall return, thanks.
The view is spectacular! Food was great, portions were good.
New England clam chowder was excellent. Ordered grill salmon and had to send it back twice because it wasn't fully cooked... otherwise food was good.
Food and service were only ok, but worth what we paid. Best thing was their fish market. Bought some great fresh fish to take home. Very good selection of fish and shellfish at reasonable prices.
Service was poor. With my open table reservation I had requested a dessert with candle for my daughter's birthday and none was provided.
Great table on the deck! Food was great!
The food was only fair. The Scallop as part of the Combination Skewer for restaurant week were not cooked well. The room was very loud, with kids yelling and screaming. Had a Homeless person outside the window smoking.
Food was delicious, as always. Kind of loud this time, but we had fun. Great service too!
Great a spot on the water. If you’re touring San Diego, do make sure to stop by and have a meal on the water.
This time I was disappointed as have always enjoyed their Restaurant week special but this year was weird and not a good value........appetizers were Prawn, fish and scallops....($30] main course prawn, fish or scallops??????
Guess I was not the only one disappointed as usually packed but this year was 1/2 empty
Ruben, our waiter, was awesome. So was the food
This is becoming my go-to spot when I travel to San Diego. Food is outstanding and the service is top notch. A really enjoyable place to unwind and relax after a busy day.
Great menu for San Diego Restaurant Week. Loved the food, the view and the terrific service.
A true San Diego gem!
Great location and view. Nice venue, good food. Highly recommend.
Thank you for a great meal. The food was superb. Overall, our group had a very nice experience. It was a delayed holiday / thank you celebration for work staff. The only rating that was not 5 star was service, our wait staff was hurried and did not seem to have time for our table. Thank you again, looking forward to returning.
Bright nautical atmosphere, quick service, with reliably excellent fish and a very good ciopino. Great location along the water near the Bob Hope statue near downtown San Diego.
We were able to sit outside, the heaters provided us with just the right amount of heat. It was cloudy, so the brilliant sunset I had hoped to see wasn't there.... The staff made accommodation s for my daughter with her meal.
